Anyone know any history or have inspected the black 260z as above on ebay ?

Its ugly but looks complete.

Go look at it, I put a link to a previous discussion a couple of months back where someone in Victoria was looking for help inspecting it. I said I would go but the owner was cagey and didn't want folks inspecting it or taking photos. He/she also refused to put up an asking price.

It's pretty awesome though, time capsule car. Imagine if that was an S30Z stored in like new condition all these years. Price might be a bit high considering these haven't taken off yet. But maybe in 10-15 years it will be a $250,000 car? Hard to know what the future holds.

I knew that car would clean up well. It does look mint. They removed the dust though so no longer a genuine barn find.

It also says "It is a genuine one owner vehicle from new" but how can that be if it's changed ownership recently? Wouldn't that make it a 2 owner vehicle now?

My guess is 28-32k.

I know a method to find out too, but it's a bit sneaky LOL..

Sneaky guess at the reserve

It was recently bought by the current seller for $21,500, so maybe add $5,000 to that if they want a guaranteed quick flip.

Haha sorry little sarcasm on my part. I was the guy that stopped bidding at 21k

Be prepared for all the 2+2s to be selling for $30,000 now !!!

All us 2+2 guys are secretly awaiting the final selling price I think ☺

It also has a non vented bonnet. Didnt all 2+2 come with vents ?

Vented bonnet was 76-78 change, earlier ones were solid. Note this car has hubcaps and steelies. The alloys came later.

Do tell. Is it in the page source javascript somewhere?

The only way to tell is to observe the previously (unsold) listed auctions for that car and make a judgement call based off that. At the end of the day you'll never know the actual figure unless it has been passed, and by that time it will be sold.

The simple way to do it, is to just ask the seller, and if they're willing to disclose it, you'll know.

All good 2+2 will sell for heaps because there aint that many good original ones around Of cause there going to be heaps cheaper than 240 in same condition   In usa were seeing 2+2s going for over 50K ozzy dollars
