...well not quite.
But he may as well be, as his life is now over more-or-less.

Yesterday, around midday, Gavin and Maria welcomed Achilles Van Doolan into the world weighting in at 3.73kg / 8.22lbs and 50cm long (Nort Bhad. Good Size).

I'm sure you will all join me in congratulating Gav and Maria, and hopefully we'll see him again in around 16-18 years...

Congrats Gav, life changing for all the right reasons!

I can confirm that fatherhood and Z's can coexist.

I'm glad, I was a bit worried. Ha. But someone has to inherit all my JDMs in future.

Congrats to all. Must keep a eye on the for sale section now for the fire sale of all those Zeds. LOL.

May swap you a 2 seater for that 2+2!

But my Rx7 had rear seats but I out the storage bins and Recaros on it. So I'll need to swap back to the recliner seats and rear buckets. That should work for a small boy until age 10 maybe.

Also got the Stagea we can enjoy as a family. I will probably keep the white 240z automatic so the wife can drive it with the little 1 riding shot gun and I can take another Z out and go to club meetings or drive days together.

Hopefully the little guy likes cars as much as me.

Congratulations Gavin and Maria from WA. Hope that you are all safe and well in these trying times. Life changes for the better now for you.

(I just had a flashback to Brian in Fast and Furious taking the kid to school in the people mover).

Regards

David.

Ditto what everyone above says! Well done.

Woohoo. That’s great news. Little fella will need a car to drive before you know it so you may need to get another Z.

Oh gawd, don't start him off, he's already got enough of them, surely...

Believe me I'm done with collecting. Gotta build a proper garage to store them all in!

Congrats Gav,

My 2 y.o loves the how to modify your L series engine book with the flying trucks. Mum says I am brainwashing him!  I call it preparation.   she thinks I won’t try it with our 5 m.o. daughter!

Garage time harder but a fair trade off!  Enjoy it.

'Achilles Van Doolan' - bold, but very cool Gav :)

Haha, that was actually a joke to go with Achilles. The godfather said it to stir me, but I actually liked the name Achilles.

We've gone with the name Ryan, middle name still not settled yet.
