De-reg, will need a repair cert to get back on the road. Shell only. + cuts. Will include what I can part with, have most panel/body cut required, including rails. DOESN'T COME WITH: Does not come with steering wheel/rack front sub, or any interior/trim pieces. Moving to a new place with a single garage, so letting go if I can get close to cost otherwise will buy a shipping container for the backyard... now I say that.... link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1eE8Re6-wx5owL0JqLxyOne3pfKyrg8TG?usp=sharing Shorting out the move so text preferred just to organise a time to call. road rider Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 280ZX's seem to be the flavor of the moment. It's good to see actually being an owner of one myself! Quote

Rack and pinion vs the drag link set up of the series 1 to mention one of the upgrades between models. The interiors of that period always make me cringe though! Although some 280zx's did have the all black interior. Quote

Anyone know? Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted October 13, 2021 Author Administrators Posted October 13, 2021 Interestingly the car was already in my database, but no photos of it until now. A friend of mine living in HK sent me photos of a blue 240z in the street (couple of years ago), so I assume it's the same car. I don't have its engine no. or know if it's matching no's. Quote

Looks like it. Matching wheels, mirror and rear strut-brace. Rust on the rear bumper is interesting. rubberman and gav240z 2 Quote

Quote Yes, a lot of heavy lifting to import my old Vespa here They are very strict with documents , certified translations, serial numbers etc. etc. It took us few months to have everything cleared. So sounds like a bit of a nightmare. Hence that could be factored into the current price. Quote
NickF Posted October 13, 2021 Posted October 13, 2021 The cars been there since 2008 so any charges associated with import most likely not really relevant now? I think I'm becoming a bit of a pedant but for a "restored" car over $100000 I would expect it to be a little closer to "original" or a lot further away. Nick Quote
