  1. There's a 240K coupe for sale on Facebook market place for $88,800. Maybe someone can post a link as I'm not a member!
  2. That colour is on my favourites list. Good looking 240Z.
  3. Great buy! I have been after a 2 seater 280ZX for ages. So lucky I was away on holidays and not aware of this auction happening! Looks to be a series 1(as the year suggests), but has series 2 tail lights. If ever you decide to sell.......
  4. Bit of a time capsule car! At what vin# did the badges on the quarter panels and vents in the hatch change on the 240Z?
  5. Ok, so I've been looking for some 280ZX bits and pieces and have come across some interesting cars in the process! The post above and now this one(can't remember this being posted already, the original add looks to be about 6 months old) Don't think I've seen a 280ZX at this price point before(A$48,000) https://www.tradeuniquecars.com.au/news/1706/1980-datsun-280zx-targa-tempter edit: just tried the link towards the bottom of the page to view the full listing and it has been removed So maybe the car sold.
  6. A 280ZX with a bit of a twist. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/noranda/cars-vans-utes/1979-datsun-280-roadster-manual/1199853812
  7. Do you need a : rear hatch, headlight buckets, indicator lenses(new)............
  8. Hey thanks Cozza! Appreciate the offer and I hope I don't sound ungrateful, but was hoping for something with a little less patina! Will keep it in mind though, cheers.
  9. Certainly has some replacement panels that look to be well made.
  10. As the title says, I'm in need of a 280ZX air cleaner assembly and a set of seat rails(both left and right sides) There's a difference in air box size between a series one and two. One is larger than the other. I'm not sure which one belongs to which series but I would rather have the larger one. Having said that, if all I can get is the smaller one then that will suffice as well. Any condition will do as I can clean it up if necessary. The plastic piece that connects to one end of the air box would be a great help also. Willing to pay for packing/postage. Let me know if you can help! Thanks in advance.
  11. I've also found that some clubs charge into the hundreds of dollars for memberships when I was looking into this same thing a while back. I still haven't had the need to go the club reg path just yet. But I'm very interested to hear how you went and which club you joined. Good luck.
  12. Cheap you say!! Maybe a little optimistic at US$8575 you think! But then again, you don't come across car parts made from 'unobtainium' every day now.......do we!
  13. I was wondering the same thing myself! So does anybody know?
  14. Watched this last night. Car SOS, 240Z resto (apologies if it has been posted already)
  15. You're a sick puppy Lurch Probably to 'tight' to pay for lube(pardon the pun of sorts )
  16. Another out of the UK Asking 44,950 pounds https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1973-Marathon-Spec-Datsun-240Z/323271235810?hash=item4b447798e2:g:SRwAAOSwwTlbBt~H
  17. Here's an interesting one out of the UK(apologies if it has been posted previously) Price: 84,995 pounds https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Datsun-240Z-Historic-Rally-Car-Owned-and-rallied-by-the-late-Tony-Fall/122947032125?hash=item1ca036d43d:g:F1MAAOSwQwZadJHQ
  18. Wonder what car that steering wheel came from. I like the colour.
  19. Yep, had the same effect on me when I saw that picture!
  20. Avgas will fix any detonation problems! I'd go with flat tops! You could upgrade the cam at the same time as the bottom end freshen up!
  21. Talking about Supras......well Gav happened too in a post above! Not sure about the white stripes and massive tailpipe/muffler setup. But damn that thing will certainly get up and boogie with that 3 litre motor and twin turbo. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TWIN-TURBO-5SPD-MANUAL-6cyl-TOYOTA-SUPRA-89-coupe-skyline-GTR-GTO-HSV-FPV-HDT/123122062252?hash=item1caaa593ac:g:7cAAAOSwpFtan382
  22. Was thinking the same thing Gav. Edit: I seem to remember a time when 240Z's were at this price point too!
  23. Just one more and at least it's a Z!! 1989, 300ZXTT, 2 seater. $8,000 Looks very clean and well looked after and only 2 previous owners. I have to admit this is tempting for the price(negotiable!) But alas, my wife and I are heading to Europe in 8 weeks and she wouldn't be impressed if I came home with a new car at this point in time. Needless to say she hasn't been impressed with me on many occasions previous!! https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300zx-TT-TTop-2-Seater-Z32-Skyline-Silvia-Gto-WRX/263688892417?hash=item3d65153001:g:aMoAAOSwW5las3Ji
  24. Not Z's I know....... Interesting combo. But not my cup of tea! Stanza turbo edit: meant to type 'rotary' as well https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/13b-turbo-Datsun-stanza-1979/323257368177?hash=item4b43a3fe71:g:2zIAAOSw8FBa-q2D 1978 Skyline C210 Currently at $6800 with just under 2 days to run in auction. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1978-Nissan-Datsun-Skyline-C210-Sedan-Automatic/123123440503?_trkparms=aid%3D777003%26algo%3DDISCL.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140117125611%26meid%3D6f2796006a4e450681390dcd83a2ee4a%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D10%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D323257368177%26itm%3D123123440503&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982
