The car stacker is one thing, but the cars stacked within blew me away! That's a shed that dreams are made of.....if only there were a few Z's. The seller isn't selling cause he needs cash for another project or anything. Hence the asking price, throw it out there and see what happens! If he gets it, it can only be a good thing for other R100 owners.

That's great news that the car is being brought back to life. I was only asking the question the other day in another thread about 240Z's that have had the G nose conversion. Look forward to seeing the progress.

Ok I know there's a fat chance a HS30-H is hiding away somewhere in Oz. Not unless Gav has purchased one and has kept it quiet But I remember a few replicas getting around back in the late 80's and early 90's. So are there any 240ZG replicas here in Oz? I sold an accident damaged car (#351) to another forum member recently. Back in the early 90's when I bought it, it had a G nose kit fitted. Shame it was involved in an accident as there would have been a damn good chance it would be sitting alongside my other 240Z in the garage presently. Bought that one back in the mid 80's!

There's some good parts on offer, prices seem fair as well. Cheaper than some of the other sellers out there. I just might grab some items! Edit: just sent a message to the seller asking if he will combine shipping on multiple items. Looking at his individual pricing for postage, it is a little on the expensive side unfortunately.

I knew I had one for sure, but after just having a look, turns out I have two! They are both sitting on pallet racking behind two other gearbox's. Means I have to man handle four gearbox's by the time I get the Z31 box's out. My back hurts just thinking about it lol. My kit from zcardepot arrived about a month ago. It's the one that Precision make for a 240Z. Must get stuck into fitting it KatoKid, you must have ordered your kit individually considering you went for some genuine stuff as well. Do you mind me asking what that cost?

I've got a Z31 5 speed gearbox sitting in the garage. I have no idea if it's a T5 or not. Will have a look for any type of id on the gearbox casing and let you know.

There was a really nice example of a 260Z 2 seater on carsales.com a few months back for $35,000 Silver in colour and had a restoration already done. The blue 260Z for $21,000 seems like a good buy on the surface but It's going to cost to restore properly. Makes me wish I had jumped on the silver one!

And the N47 is a EFI head. I think that some N47's also had steel liners on the exhaust ports. Maybe Mossy can confirm if this has them or not.

Closed chamber is the key word here E88 or N47........I wouldn't say no to either of them for a naturally aspirated engine P90 for a turbo set up

Ron Jeremy.....now that's fricken funny Red velour.....well what can I say about that! Nissan wasn't the only company using velour in car interiors around that time as well. It all comes together when you think back to 1979.......an era that was the Bee Gees, John Travolta and Saturday Night Fever. What can I say, but Disco was big back then and so was the velour thing and 280ZX's and in the most gaudy colours. I was never really a fan of some of the other colours on offer from Nissan at the time either. You were lucky if you got a black interior in my books, which was available . Ken, you need to be asking some questions Ask for pics of: The chassis rails and floor The battery tray area Front leading edge of bonnet Petrol cap area The rear hatch area Around the windscreen and rear glass in the hatch Doglegs behind front doors These are just a quick list I can think of, more will probably come to mind later! All these areas are prone to rust and need investigating. Good luck in your search!

Welcome. Be careful.....there are some cheap and nasty 280ZX's out there. As with all Z's of that era, they suffer from rust. Having said that, there are some good examples out there, but they generally cost a little more! Good luck.
