Talking about 280ZX's, this ones on gumtree I've always wanted a 2 seater, but not at this price point. $65,000 For those kind of dollars I would be expecting a little more. I wasn't sure about the engine either Gav. Even so, I don't think I've seen a Z31 engine in a 240Z before!

I don't think I've ever seen a Z32 conversion done on a 240Z before. Never say never I guess. What was that, did someone say rust!

Interesting to see what they bring at auction. The first one is a series 2 and looks like a nice original car. The second is a series 1 and looks to have been resprayed at some point in its life. I like the first one better!

Interesting reading what everyone has to say about this subject. I'm old enough to have seen the 240Z released way back when! Throughout the 70's, 80's and 90's nearly all who owned a Z car modified them in some way. It's just what happened unfortunately. If only we knew back then what was to come lol I actually owned a 240ZG replica back in the mid 90's. It had a few mods to say the least. Still wish I had it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a tastefully modified 240/260Z or even a 280ZX. There's something about a brake upgrade, lsd, close ratio gearbox, triple webers or even fuel injection that appeals to me still today. I'll even go as far as saying air con and power steering wouldn't be a bad thing. But you get that already with a 280ZX! As far as engines go, I've always been a fan of the L series in all its configurations.

Truckit.net Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of truckit.net (trustpilot.com) I've used this particular site to get some reviews of other carriers I've received quotes from. Some reviews are very damning of some carrier companies out there. One particular carrier had nothing but negative reviews.

Have come across the 'cars over 25 years old' at some of the sites I've visited!

Has anyone had to transport a car interstate? If so, who did you use and what was the experience like. I've received some quotes but there are mixed reviews for most online and some are down right terrible. Deposit on car has been paid and final payment will happen after a friend looks at the car this weekend. I cant see any problems arising as the owner has supplied me with a plethora of photos and all seems to be okay. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance all. Sorry for posting this topic here, but I thought it might have more of a chance of getting noticed! And I need to book something sooner rather than later lol. Oh and this is the car!
