1971 Datsun 240Z Manual,     $125,000

"Here’s your chance to own a concourse condition 240z. This is build number 409 making it one of the much coveted ‘Series 1’ cars."

I hope the "concourse" resto paid more attention to detail than they did to the lack of the windscreen trim!

Here we have a 76-260z , 2 seater full project. Pics are what is included. I can send you hi-res pics as ebay only allows 12 pics. (Apologise for the low res group pics)
Yes it is a typical datto !  The shell will need a passenger floor, doglegs and sills, area around fuel filler will also need to be done, slam panel is fixable but I do have new replacement, also have a rare spare passenger floor included.
The firewall pretty good, doors include glass and mechanism but will need skins from rare spares or someone good on the mig,  the door substructure is quite ok, door hinges are good,  hatch glass is good, guards are good, bonnet is good. Heaps of odds & sods in various condition. Will include 2 fuel tanks, Console is stuffed, some heater components, dash badly cracked but all dash wiring is there, main harness-loom  all there, bumpers reasonable, grill is good, sugar scoops headlight buckets good.
Spent a long time in a dusty shed just outside of Canberra, now located central Canberra. Inspection welcome & recommended.  0 four o eight ,  double 7 _zero ,   one hundred

If anyone is interested in this car and wants it inspected I am happy to have a look. It is located  just around the corner from home. Drop me a PM with your number to arrange.

Some Zeds, maybe it was just the early ones, had that twistknob rather than a key lock.

Early ones had the key. My car HS30 00150 has the key flap. It's a North American thing I think.

Not sure but did Australian cars  come with the front and rear spoiler, those look like the ones on UK delivered

cars

The ad is certainly lacking in detail

I have photos of this car from about 12 years ago when it was in pieces I've added them to the HS30 registry.

It was not fitted with the rear wing back then and was 918 orange.

Reserve wasn't met and it was referred at $35k....I would have thought $32-35k is about the right price for that?

I had this discussion with @OdinZand I thought that was about fair market value at today's prices. But perhaps seller was hoping for more like $45k? Not a lot of choice out there at the moment on the market.

But this seems like better value:

But only this morning it was under offer, now back? hmm..
