It's crazy that it can't sell. But that is the current market we're in.

If I wasn't building mine would definitely have bought this. Not far from my place

Its funny the real estate market is picking back up due to no stock and heaps of buyers but the classic car market has good stock but no buyers

Tell that to the RBA........

I think the Real Estate market recovery is a bit of a false dawn. Everyone is front-running the RBA re: dropping rates thinking prices will bounce/boom again. But I don't think inflation is anywhere near under control and I don't think the RBA is done raising rates - they should have gone hard, earlier and raised more quickly and more basis points, but they have jumped the shark on this 1 and now we are all experiencing more pain.

Of course RBA are not the only ones to blame on this IMHO. Government could be doing more to moderate energy prices and not run such crazy immigration numbers which is putting rents higher (rents and energy go into CPI calculation).

TL;DR - is more pain ahead.

If I was Governor I would have raised rates to 4% when VN Commodore SS's were fetching $70-$80k at auction. Or 2 door WRX's were $117k...

I can't find the original video from Channel 9, but this video says all that needs to be said really. :)

Ad says it was a prime candidate for a complete restoration. I would think it would have been a prime candidate for leaving it in original condition; albeit I havent see the "before" photos. 35k miles from new!

It's been beautifully done. Well worth asking price.

Curious to ask if anyone knows what product has been used on the inner floor/transmission tunnel as the sound/vibration deadener, it is show in the photos as black sheets prior to painting. Have been looking for years for something to replicate the original without any luck and this looks pretty good.

I second what Gavin says, it has been beautifully done with a great deal of attention to detail; notice the black out detail on the radiator support panel and even the seat mounting brackets; often left off when cars are restored in the belief that it looks "crappy".
