Administrators gav240z Posted June 21 Author Administrators Share Posted June 21 @crackerrecently sold this car almost immediately after listing it. But that was a few weeks ago (before interest rate rises) which seem to have put a wet blanket on things. OdinZ

Refurbished from the ground up, back to bare metal, re-sprayed to original colour, new wheels and tyres, upholstery, receipts for all mechanical work. Original gearbox and 280Z motor which was in the car when I bought it. I’m the only owner since having it re-vined. No details of previous owners except who I bought it off. Number plate not included but will sell separately. Any questions txt or phone XXXXXXX. Good morning, as I stated in my description, the 280Z motor was in the car when I bought it 28 years ago. I bought it off the previous owner as a restoration project and it was unregistered and unwarranted. More than happy to answer questions on my phone number provided. Balinski
I think I’ve seen this one pop up in the past before. Non-matching, but seems like a very reasonable price for a complete, and straight, 240Z. Yeah….I mean it’s a shit box, needs a resto, but it’s a complete running car. panel gaps are terrible, chassis rails and floors need doing but it’s probably still better than mine. i kind of need a shell that’s been blasted and epoxied so I can see how the rust is, too dangerous to buy a painted car, too many potential nasty surprises Edited June 30 by 240ZBUILTBYME
Administrators gav240z Posted June 30 Author Administrators Share Posted June 30 You really need to see these cars in person to evaluate the body on them. Someone is always selling a sandblasted shell in epoxy after discovering the car was more far gone than anticipated. IMHO it's better the devil you know. Once you've started, if you keep looking for a better starting point. You end up finding a car without your current cars issues, just another set of issues your current car doesn't have. Given they are 50 years of age now, it's a given they need everything. gilltech and 240ZBUILTBYME
