Perhaps paint it Red or maybe Black ?? the drop it a bit with some 16inch Watanabe's on it and I reckon it would be a cool car !! What are the chances of that? I dunno... I actually expected your car to reach at least $12k.. so thought it went a bit cheaper than expected. It's in great condition, has always been well maintained and lives in a purpose built shed. Looks great from 10ft but up close has quite a number of paint blemishes which will need attention at some time. It was explained to me that approx 18 years ago it was bare metal resprayed - there was possibly some sort of contamination between the prep coat and final coat which resulted in some very small bubbles forming within 6 months after the respray- most being noticeable on the right rear guard. Hard to describe and even harder to photograph (photo 17 and 18) - if you are interested you need to check it out first. Brakes have just been refurb all round, new nolethane bushings, original handbook, keys etc etc Have original fibreglass rear spoiler and steering wheel. Reason for sale: Late last year i injured my back ...unfortunately the resulting operation hasn’t been as successful as I had hoped for and as a result my 'Z' isn’t seeing ANY road time (too low for me to get into and out of without difficulty) so it's time to sell as it’s NOT a car that's meant to be on static display in a shed. road rider Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 I don't mind the colour of that 280ZX, it's just those stick on stripes or whatever you want to call them. Remove the stripes and put on a wide set of mags. 280ZX's can take some wide rubber with plenty of space beneath the guards and the right offset mag. But at the end of the day, it's still left hand drive. And it's going to cost to convert it to RHD both in time and money. Luckily parts are supplied with the sale. Sounds like the dash being supplied will need a re skin for a start and who knows what else might need attention. At the end of the day it's going to cost money on top of the 20K purchase price to get it to where you want it Quote
