The one for $8300 is actually $3500.  He has a couple of items for sale in the one ad and all the prices have been added up.

The one for $4K looks pretty good from the pretty crappy photos.  Looks like it has been stored in doors for quite a while.

Looks like 2 good projects there - so we shouldn't have any threads titled "WTD: Complete 240Z for project - prepared to to pay bugger all" for quite some time.

The way I read the ad.

The 240z is $8300

The 260z 2+2 is $3500

Other 2+2 is $2800

300zx is $1250

You obviously don't appreciate how much work there is in doing that conversion, plus all the suspension, brakes and diff it comes with, on top of it being basically a complete car.

Car was being talked about on the previous page.

Man that V8 Zed is cheap. Not sure why no rego. He would have spent well over 50K and countless hours on that.

I *think* and I could be wrong that car was originally red and was on eBay a couple of years ago with the V8 conversion already done. It was listed around $18k from memory. But of course I could be wrong!

You would have to be keen.

Yes agreed, but beggars can't be chooser's when supply has run out ;).

US 240z on eBay currently at $28k

Not sure I believe it? But it is an early car.

It's got a bloody moon roof also!

Too many little details wrong with it in my opinion for it to reach that kind of price in the US.

Based on the fact that he's selling it on a racing site I wluld guess it was built as a track car?

Does indeed look cheap, but no mention of being engineer approved.  ::)

I love that colour, i dont know why it isnt more popular.

Yup, my next door neighbour had a 240z in that colour, He parked in on the street in front of his house & I'd walk past it everyday on the way home from school.

Basically the reason I fell in love with Zeds & cars in general.

Unlucky for me he sold it 2 years before I was in a position to buy my first car otherwise I would have been in an s30 series car a lot sooner hahaha

But this car is a good example of why you don't buy a car just because it has shiny paint
