I've seen this sort of thing before, I once bought a pair of rare seats on eBay (for the rx-7) and then 2 days later I saw the same pair on Gumtree. I asked the seller (on eBay where I won it) what was up and he said he didn't advertise them. So obviously it was a scammer. We got the ad taken down. Seen the same thing with an RX-7 not that long ago also. They always advertise them at a super cheap price so you feel like you're getting a bargain. Then there is always a reason why the car can't be seen and that they need a deposit to hold it etc..

 

Just another reminder to be very careful when something appears too good to be true, it almost always is.

My concern is that if you rolled up with cash - it might be more about robbery than a bargain!  Great to see that as a community we can at least attempt to have each others backs.

Yeah I don't mind the red dashboard, but it looks horribly out of place with the white interior.

 

I'm more worried about the paint job done on it though. Looks awfully 'rushed'.

Spotted this one just as I got home from work today. The ad had only been up an hour or two. Clicked the link to show the phone number, and bam, it refreshes the page and is listed as sold. Anyone here on here happen to grab it? There was no pics but at the price that was listed, I would probably have bought it sight unseen! Doh!

That radiator support damage may be holding it's value back. But it shouldn't be too difficult to rectify and could be driven and enjoyed relatively easily.
