I was replacing my steering balljoints and I put antiseize on the threads and taper. Stupidly, afterwards I went online to check if it was the right to do, and it was not. So I used Inox MX3 to remove the antiseize, will this remove the grease inside the balljoints? should I be concerned? or am I fretting over nothing? They are sealed for life 555 balljoints.

Could be a regular Fairlady with an S20 in place of the L gata

I just bought a set of 45MM OER's, the castings did not look that amazing actually quite poor (they are not installed yet). However now that I know what I'm up for, would it be worth sending them off to LCR? Or should I sell them off and buy some DCOE's?

I was looking to eventually upgrade to electronic dizzy (is Pertronix any good?) I was buying bosch points and condenser that are made in Japan, but the coil was a generic black thing.

Sorry forgot the clarify, the first time the points went bad I replaced the condensor too. Still continued to chew through points. I had similar driving issues to wogsrus (misfiring, inconsistent idle etc) these went away after changing points and setting gap 0.50mm, then the points would go bad again.

In the last 6 months replaced my whole ignition system consumables, i.e. coil, leads, cap, rotor, points, condensor/capacitor, all sparkplugs and the ballast resistor I set all my gaps too. It was running without issue for some months until last month, when I chewed through one set of points. I replaced those points, about 2 weeks later the points had a chunk missing again they got replaced. It got down to week between ignition point failures, so I changed back to the old ballast resistor, now the points couldnt even last 2 days. I might try changing back to the old coil, as it had no issues it was just old. Has anyone had similar issues? Anyone with more experience could shed some light? Or could something else be wrong? Pleases and thankyous.

I've stripped an L28, it is not in the best of condition but maybe of use for someone. All prices do not include shipping, pickup preferred for these parts. First up is the the pistons and conrods. Most of the pistons are junk. The conrods seem in decent shape (number 4 piston has bad damage so the connecting rod maybe bent to) $30 for the set of 6 Standard L28 crankshaft. SOLD SOLD SOLD All the bores look ok except #4 which has some minor damage at the top of the bore. $100, including main caps & bolts and front cover.
