  1. Hello Guys, With the success that Les Collins Racing, PMC and Lurch have had with The Green Hornet running on 50mm Mikuni carbs, I was looking at the 47mm OER carbs which are the updated version of SK Racing carbs. The question is: Since the carbs can be ordered with either Weber style jets or Mikuni style jets, is one style better than the other. I believe that the Weber jets would be easier to purchase if rejetting was required ( which would be neccessary). Do the Weber jets and Mikuni jets have the same tunability through the rev range. Is one style better than the other for fine tuning. I will have to make the decision at some stage as to which way to go. ITB or carbs. I like the OER over the Webers due to the external adjustments. The new engine is a 2.9L with a lot of Datsun Spirit parts, Kameari, BHJ, etc. Head is fully worked with DSI .560 thou cam and oversize valves. Opinions would be appreciated. David (Enzo)
