Oh my word, look at those tail lights. From a Ford Falcon? :) I can't get over the fact that it has all those mods yet it still has the gear knob and throttle / choke knobs in it.

260z door card, so maybe a 260z door?

Must be an early girl too! Wonder what number...

At least it doesn't have a sunroof.

Feel like there was another 240z for sale in TAS recently, but it's gone now?

Hooooo yeah... :o

Is this actually a 260 or are my eyes still recovering from the tailights ?

Door cards look 260-ish.

No time waisters guys, seller is too busy to spellcheck and/or write a proper ad!

The single, low res photo looks pretty nice though.

You could buy this one and Dale's shell and return it to it's former glory, if you got the skillz!

I know others have covered it already - but I still can't believe how godddam ugly the back of that thing is !  It takes a special kind of butchery to take one of a Z's most distinctive and desirable features in my mind (the back of it) and turn it into a hideous POS !

It takes a special kind of talent that's for sure. The thing is, as Scoota mentioned it could still be saved and in my mind it isn't much more work than many other restorations anyway since you often have to unpick certain sections of bodywork to do the correct rust repair anyway.

There cannot be too many more 1970 model 240z's in Australia. I don't know exactly how many were sold that year but early cars are becoming very limited in supply. Shame this 1 isn't more original overall though.

anything can be saved. Doing any resto, the hardest thing is reversing the butchering of previous owners... this car would take some skill.
