Hi

I saw it, but to be honest a phone screenshot of a FB Page does not really allow you anyone to get decent look at the photo's. The screen shot doesn't show the FB page name either.

If you posted a link to the FB listing you might get more comment, assuming it is an FB group that is public.

Just my 2c worth

Cheers

PB

I'm not actually a member of the group but the screenshot has the name of the Facebook group up the top as well as a contact number in the ad for anyone interested. I don't really care as I already have my own Z lol but didn't want anyone else to miss out on the opportunity if they were trying to find one :)

Edit: sorry, I see now that the whole name of the group isn't visible :)

Sharing Facebook links is a PITA. Since finding the permalink is a mission in and of itself. I find that if you can find the option to show a post in a tab, then click on the tab link it will take you to the full Facebook URL and you can then share that specific URL to take someone to a given post. But I still struggle to find this information often in Facebook. Drives me nuts.

Not a Datsun, although a Datsun 280Z is mentioned in the add, but you will have to read it to find out what is said.

This car is damn big. Measures 17.5 ft in length.

I like it's lines. very sleek.

I sent a question to the seller last Thursday (Feb 2), simply asking which suburb the car is in and I did not get a reply either.

The price is now at $24,500 and the reserve has been met.

$33,101 that sold for! Fair indicator of recent price rises imho

Historically digit only number plates have been a solid investment.

Some one would argue the ultimate finishing touch for that dream car.

This is so true, however I once had the same train of thought as Gav. That was until a relative bought a single digit plate in 1994. It was #6 and cost $14,000. Now it's insured for almost $200k - and it's on a $5000 car!! WTF.

This car was last advertised on Carsales.com.au for a whopping $35k.

https://goo.gl/photos/ouLBkiFBY2c2SkbL9

HS30 103407.

Great car, just a shame that the Gosford (car flipping) museum got to it before an enthusiast.

Now asking $65k.

I don't think they really know what it is to be honest.

Is that how they were badge? Not seen it that way before. My HS30 just has FairladyZ badges.

Yes because it's a 2.4ltr (L24) HS30 (Fairlady 240Z-L), your car is an S30 (no H prefix) and is just a regular Fairlady Z-S (L20A) if I recall correctly.

Hey guys, by chance any members here close to cairns?

Looking possibly at a 2+2 up there and wouldn't mind saving the cost of a flight

Cheers in advance

Gav.... interesting that it's at Gosford ....That car was sold from near where I am and I had contacted the seller about having a look at it for original detail information. He was good with that but he had taken a deposit and the car was collected before we could get together....the interesting thing is that he told me the car was being shipped to Western Australia.
