Have you driven a 2000? ? I'm not letting the Z go 'cheap', but a fair price would be good. Roady is more a niche market item. 260 vert is different, but I'm selling a car for the coin to put elsewhere, otherwise I'd keep both.

You can buy new Webers made in Italy? Point was my preference was always Mikuni, but new (Spanish? Webers) vs Used Mikuni has my interest atm as it's actually cheaper. I wouldn't rule out Italian Webers if I found a good setup.

^ definitely the 152g - did read up on that. So it really sounds like it's simply a brand preference, especially when you can get a new Weber setup cheaper than a refurbed Solex setup for a similar result

Yeah that's what I was hoping to get feedback on - drivability/tunability of the new Webers. I had a quality setup of 40's with manifold last year that I moved on - kicking myself now. However, 44's or 45's are what I have decided on if I'm going to pull the trigger on triples.

So I have only envisioned putting triple Mikuni Carbs in my 240z. With current auction prices in Japan for even good 40's now, I'm looking at the new 45mm Weber kit option.
