  1. Here it is... http://www.zcar.com/forum/10-70-83-tech-discussion-forum/88884-directions-how-resurface-rocker-arms.html
  2. I'll see what I can find, I never saved it.
  3. I recall reading on Hybridz about one of the rockers snapping in half. I resurfaced my used rockers myself by hand when I upgraded the cam. I followed the instructions I found on hybridz as per 'norm the 12sec dude' build. It's pretty basic but very time consuming! No issues at all so far, that's running a 76deg works high lift cam, cosworth springs etc on the PMC P90 head. This head/cam/rockers setup has been used on the previous L29 and now the L31. Plenty of road miles and track time too. What's wrong with the rockers you have now?
  4. Hi Johno, have you looked at David's front and rear arms yet? I have both front and the rears. The quality is excellent and the finish is available in Cad plated or powder coated. There a few guys using his. I can't find the proper link to his for sale threads at the moment, perhaps try a PM to him (Zcar63). I have a pic of the rears but I can't find one for the fronts http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/14291-rear-control-arms/
  5. Oh yeah, what an animal! Great work guys. Will you be having another crack at WTAC?
  6. One for the 1600 lovers, what a sweet ride! http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2016/02/19/profiles-the-ultimate-bre-510-tribute/#more-46889
  7. Saw it on the news this arvo, camera footage showed the business name full screen size. Australia wide coverage, ouch, that's gotta hurt.
  8. Wow, that power output is very underwhelming!
  9. $500, you cant go wrong. If the shell is toast, then basic parts will more than get your money back.
  10. I thought maybe he was pissed? In saying that we had the steering link on our ride on mower fail on one side years ago, the result was zero steering even though one wheel was still working.
  11. Is there an alcohol restriction in the lead up to the 12hr like the Bathurst 1000?
  12. 15-50k for a 2+2.... No hope! It's full of rust and bog. Wow, am I the only one or is that insane? Who would pay 35k for that?

  14. I got my rear seal from rare spares when I did the rebuild a few years ago and it was no good. The lips on the corners were too narrow to retain the stainless trim. They were noticeably narrower than the lips on the straight section. It's like their moulds or tooling for the corner pieces was worn out or faulty. That was at the start of 2013, so it may have been rectified by now. I ended up returning it covered in sealant, getting a refund and using 'precision' brand. I got it from All Z Parts. Has been faultless so far.
  15. They look brand new have they been water jet blasted? What choke size do you think it will end up with?
  16. Dirt cheap flywheel, 4.2kg's. Looks like a copy of the Kameari style. http://page24.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/q102188533
  17. Ok, I'll look into those as well. What about this, it's another 4" longer but also 7" round instead of 5"? Only issue I can see would possibly be ground clearance. Does anyone know what the 3 chambers are?
  18. Damn!
  19. It's your car Jeff so go with what you want. For my 2c worth I'm with Gav, my vote is for the original 907 green, with black wheels only though, it'll make the factory chrome and stainless really pop!
  20. Lurchos, I just took some measurements. The centre magnaflow is 14" long, 5" round, straight 3" in/out. The JDM style rear is 14" long, 7.8"(200mm) long, twin 60mm straight in/out, 5" long angled tips.
  21. Another mod another change required. I've had few peddles in the Ricey with the new 3.1 engine sorted. I like a little noise, it sounds big at idle but not too bad, at full noise it's epic. I love it but I'm not sure anyone else will inside or in the surrounding areas, so I think it could be a little on the loud side Can't upload video as I'm locked out of my youtube account. I run stainless headers 6-2 42.7mm primaries twin 60mm secondaries, full 3" mandrel system, magnaflow 5" round 14" long stainless centre resonator and a reinhard twin 60mm stainless rear muffler. All mufflers are full stainless with stainless steel wool fill and perforated stainless steel cores. It was good on the old engine, not to loud at all. Could the bump in compression from 9.3:1 up to 10.5:1 and displacement increase from almost 2.9 to 3.1 mean a lot more noise? I was really happy with the way the 5" round magnaflow centre muffler made the old engine sound. Is it possible to fit an oval muffler in the centre, say 14Lx9Wx4D under the rear gearbox area and will that solve the noise issue?
  22. They look like there in the wrong spot ? hehe. What's left to do on it Jake, is it just reassembly or are there still mods to be done?
  23. The Z432 vid was a bit boring, check out the driving gloves! Lol. Looks good, I guess it's only shot standing still cause it's not able to be driven with the suspension in that setting? Kinda reminds me of this Sunny on Jay Leno's garage. Looks cool, drives like absolute sh$t with everything hitting. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks-mfmWkoGk
  24. Riceburner

    89Mm Crank

It makes me feel cheap! Looking at the green hornet videos the engine performance is on a different planet to all other L6 engines. And I bet the plug wires would be in the correct order
  25. Riceburner

    89Mm Crank

So that's a complete motor with cylinder head, extractors, sump etc. All you need then is 50mm carbs or injection, say +5k for a drop in engine?
