Hard to believe what looks like pretty extensive damage was done to the Merc and so little to the Z......we all own one and know how lightly built they are and I would expect the Z to look far worse on the front damage if it was "legitimately" (used this word way to often.....me thinks he doth protest too much) hit so hard by the Merc. The cynic in me says he realizes he has bitten off more than he can chew and is looking for a way out. Would love to be proved wrong, only time will tell. I was a little mean and commented the car was already fu-bar after he cut it up. The rest is light panel damage. But I honestly feel he's ruined an otherwise restorable example. Such a crying shame. He bought the merc damaged, as well as a 350z/370z, I don't really see any new damage from this incident (he bought it off copart, one of his sponsors). I reckon if he doesn't use this shell, he is going to do the exact same thing again, which will be a shame. This dude likes to do weird shit - the bmw boat thing, the apoca-shit car that he ended up stacking, and whatever you want to call his aston martin onion slicer... He also seems to have quite a bit of support from his community around this build, I really doubt that this will stop him. Just my 2 cents. Also this. That's when you're likely to end up exchanging paint. The Falcon has a lot of power down the straights but can't maintain speed through the corners and it's a bit of a tank with how wide it is. ? You could tell he was under pressure not to lose ground and that made him make mistakes. Quote
