It's in WA, which has a low population of S30z's in general compared with the East Coast. (freight alone for a 2 seater from the East Coast is probably near $2000 AU). Always easier to start high and come down, than try and start low and go up ;). It may not be as rusty as it looks structurally which might be a positive since door skins can be replaced relatively easily (well for a pro not me :P) and other external panels can be remedied / replaced without too much hassle. It's the structural stuff that slows down the project.

Looks quite tidy and I like the overall look (not sure about rear hatch).

About $13k before import duties etc.. but being older than 30 years it should be cheaper to import.

This entry is dedicated to Bozo.

Sigh.

I've been checking thread updates almost once a month as opposed to once a day due to international content...

Yeah i think the international listings should go in another thread. They are fun to look at, but not really that practical for most people looking to buy a car.

Looks nice to me, hail damage doesn't look that obvious. Bit of hammer and dolly time + heat shrinking and you could definitely save a straight bonnet.

That original bronze hue and 260z 2+2 is what first got me into these cars.

It seems cheap to me at $3k even if it needs work. Well worth doing.

Issac the "woodchippa"

Yellow one is sold, blue one still for sale last time i visited him, i bought my zed from him 1 year ago, and a few others on here have bought their cars from him too.

Story goes he took out his super 20 years ago, went around bought up 50 cars or so, and is slowly selling them off... my car paid for part of his wedding!  8)

George when I put this up I think it was said that this one was gone. May be an old advert.

I thought that might be the case but wasn't sure. A friend on Facebook shared it with me.

Don't get too excited over that Yellow S30z (late 260z), I know it's history (I believe it's the same car). It was pretty rough body wise (lots of rust) about 2004-2005 when I saw it. Someone in Hawthorn owned it (near Swinburne) and I'd be very surprised if it was ever properly repaired. Someone is going to sandblast that car someday and be left with something that makes HS30 00019 look solid ;).

That yellow 260z has been for sale quite often over the last 12 years or so..... Something must be suss in order for it to change hands or be for sale a lot.....

A few cars popping onto the market lately, a sign of the times perhaps? Higher unemployment forcing people to sell toys free up some cash?

I think I remember seeing that yellow one for sale a few weeks ago listed from somewhere in the Blue Mountains. Remember the colour and fact that it had a l28 turbo. Looked like it needed a bit more work than it does in those photos.

Move along move along, no rust to see here.

Sounds like car dealer talk to me. We all know how much we love those guys around here :)

This Unique Datsun 240Z Coupe has a powerful 2.8 litre engine. Excellent in condition and faultless in performance. The 1971 Datsun 240Z has renowned performance and style. This car is exceptional value at $27,000.

I feel a bit nervous about the throttle return spring.
