Also the alloy radiator was a bit jarring to me in an otherwise well kept original engine bay. Sure it might be more efficient with the shroud on it etc.. but I would prefer to see a black or standard copper style radiator in that engine bay myself. It will be interesting to see what interest the auction attracts. Quote

It now runs and is driveable. It's a 5 speed manual, has the R200 differential and is a matching numbers build. Like all Datsun's of this age, no doubt it's been around the clock, it has a few issues and I'm only selling due to the purchase of another Datsun!!! The plates do not go with the car, inspections welcome and sold as is. Other than the front fenders it looks like the original paint - no obvious signs of rust? Original radio! Even has the TOPY wheels and caps! 260z fender badges are rare now too! I see quite a bit of value in this provided the body is solid. Not sure if it starts but I'd bank on spending between $15-$20k. I am thinking of going to the auction but i think it'll bring fairly decent money. I suspect there will be a big crowd there cause of the other cars as well.
