After being used for weekend car club trips only, The car has been in storage for 14 years after the owners ill health. As seen in the photos is original and unmodified. The interior and carpets are in good condition. Sporting the classic 70's sports car line, the car is straight with no rust, but shows signs of paint wear. The car is Datsun factory Lime, Right Hand Drive, has Jelly Bean mags and a rear louvre. It has automatic transmission which is great for city driving, and the engine runs well. The engine is an inline 6 cylinder, SOHC, with all independent suspension. Unlike many cars in the class, there's plenty of rear space in this 2 seater, should you want to pack some luggage for a weekend away. This car is 115th from the end of the production line of the 240Z's.

Very true when looking for a 175 tyre (of correct circumference to match the 195/70R14) that will fit in the spare wheel well without protruding above the floor level.

Have you tried to repair it? Whilst this is for a 240z valve/tap the 260z will be similar. Otherwise you will struggle to find one that someone can confirm does not leak. No doubt you were shocked to see the price that jdm-car-parts is charging for these as it seems they are the only ones with stock.

Instead of the stick on sound deadening have you considered this option as a replacement for the deadener and the jute matting? https://www.carbuilders.com.au/mass-noise-liner-floormat You can then put the carpet over the top of this.

Yeah, what is with the front windscreen / rear window ?mastic? fitment, not the usual rubber seal- never seen that before.

Bogged over and painted? No EGR system and heater/defrost pipes not connected.

What setting (soft/mid/firm) have you got on the adjustable shocks? Interested to hear as to what you recommend after driving around with them at different settings..
