  1. Of course, i have a fresh set of BP6ES and NGK wires to go in.
  2. Ah of course, totally forgot about this. Hopefully mine will work just fine as its been dispatched today.
  3. It would be great if you could, they only resistor i can picture is the condenser on the factory distributors?
  4. Great to hear, im a little worried about the tacho not working, especially on a freshly rebuilt engine. Was it the ballast resistor that got removed?
  5. Thank you for your response, exactly what i like to hear.
  6. Hi all, Hope you don't mind a British guy invading your forum, but I would really appreciate peoples thoughts on the Scorcher distributor and coil set up. Its not something that anyone in the UK uses, I have tried to collect reviews on Facebook etc and all seem great, read through posts here and seems all good so im really hoping this is the solution, you get what you pay for kind of thing as its by far the most expensive. As we are all aware the options are limited, 280zx dizzys are getting rarer and tired now, the e1280 modules aren't available anymore meaning you could easily be left stranded by one failing. Pertronix is attractive but expensive for just a module, leaving you with the old distributor, again i have heard reports of these just dying. Finally, 123, heard 50/50 with these, for something that's new, they shouldn't fail like they do, i did approached the company about these issues, they replied and said "we do not have quality issues" then stopped replying. So I'm really hoping there are no horror stories about scorcher, spoken with Andrew and they seem great. Just want to confirm as it seems like there are problems with every Z car ignition solution.
