Moderators PB260Z Posted December 29, 2015 Moderators Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) Just looked back a page and saw you are running a manual box Yeah have taken the both the L28 and Manual box from the rusty old 280ZX that went reasonably well running a 3.7 rear, am hoping the lighter S30 body combined with the 3.9 will make it a bit more spirited. Moderators PB260Z Posted January 10, 2016 Moderators Posted January 10, 2016 Well, back in Sydney after a few days up north getting some sun and a few hangovers. Managed to get an hour or two in the workshop and knock off a few more jobs. - 3.9 diff with new mount fitted - half shafts back in - rear bakes cylinders replaced. Starting to feel like I am making forward progress :-) Cheers PB mother240 1 Quote

Moderators PB260Z Posted January 23, 2016 Moderators Posted January 23, 2016 Another quick update Last decided ot was time to serious about getting the manifold back on. Those nuts under the manifold are certainly a challenge. After trying various combinations of sockets and angles with minimal success I tried something out of left field, Tape the nut to a flexible pick up tool - worked an absolute treat. End result got her running around midnight, just needed to sort out the EGR pipe in the morning. Sorted out the EGR after this morning then time for an extended test drive. andyk_79 and mother240 2 Quote

Hi Mate Not sure, but there is one in the half shaft uni joint. Once I replace the uni's will have a better idea, but 3.9 certainly feels about right. Thanks for your help Quote
