Music video from Skeemers with 3 Z cars in it. Song aptly names fairlady :). Skeemers are described as a Budapest based surf band from Hungary.

Enjoy

1972 Southern Cross Rally. Some good footage of eventual 2nd place 240z of Rauno Aaltonen/Steve Halloran and the 180B of Edgar Hermann/Mike Mitchell who eventually finished in 4th. How times have changed. No helmets open roads and no pace notes.

I wouldn't waste any more time and money, and would start again with another car. I'd use this one as a parts car, cut it up and sell off all the portions and parts I didn't need.

I was a bit annoyed when he took the easy way out with the steering wheel.  Looks like he replaced it with a Mustang wheel.  Pity he also didn't try to resurrect the original wheels...

Other than that, a lot easier than our restorations !

Zed on a lazy susan…

It's actually the 3rd-placed 1972 Monte Carlo Rally 240Z in Ginza, Japan, filmed in November this year. Prolonged viewing may lead to dizziness of the best kind:

Just needs a bit of PDR on that door right @HS30-H ?

I preferred it before they 'restored' it a few years ago. I don't think it needed it.

They're only original once...

This is an interesting video from quite a few perspectives. Very Japanese in its style and content. Some nice close ups of the L28 TC24 B1Z cam gear drive train and a nice car or two.
Worth watching.

Is that a head and Dohc cam set up that OS giken produce for the L series engines? I imagine it’s a pricey set up? Makes the tip wet for sure...
