I have a couple of spare pairs varying in condition from very average (with lots of cracks in them) to good (I'll probably use the best pair on my own restoration). I'm wondering if you found somewhere that can polish up the lenses and possibly fix the cracks (which appear inside the plastic). Quote

But it was something like $120?? Might have been a few other pieces too though. I'm sure it looks better than they did from the factory though, seeing them in the flesh is incredible. Looks perfect. Can't wait to see this build finished, one of my favourites for sure! Quote

Can't find my invoice for the trim but around $120 sounds right, I can feel a weight difference with the new chrome on too, very happy with them. I haven't polished the lenses yet only given them a wash with CT18 truck wash. Quote

mossy Posted February 11, 2013 Author Posted February 11, 2013 Thanks guys, pretty happy to be at this stage, the rear hatch will be changed down the track to a series 1 and the doors still have some ripples in them, they got absolutely shagged from the sandblaster, still pisses me off thinking about it. I actually have another set of doors which are already in etch, I may get my mate to paint them in the booth when he paints his camaro. On to aligning some panels shortly and putting the interior in. All installed Dimitri, I was actually thinking about this before too and I'll definitely have to get the glass installed before they get bolted on too, don't want someone leaning on them to install the windscreen!
