Rolled the rear lips just to be sure that the 225/45/16 tyres clear which they do,  pics really don't do these wheels justice especially once its painted factory orange.

I wouldn't quite say showcar but pretty close,  I've bought a LOT of new parts for this car I think almost everything bar the gearbox has been stripped and rebuilt. Really looking forward to the end result and bringing it down to the xmas bbq this year  ;D

Not sure about new carpet yet, I bought some a few years ago when I had this car on the road but the fit wasn't the best, probably the best way to get fitting carpet would be to go to a motor trimmers but I think that would cost quite a bit unless anyone knows of any other options?

what does the silver foil paper do? is it sound deadening stuff?

Yep, its sound deadening

How many  square meters of sound deading did you use?

Probably about 60 of 100sq m so far (done the roof as well) I'm going to do the doors and hatch as well with whats left

Lots of little jigsaw pieces if there Scoota but it will all be under the carpet so it won't be seen. I think the cost was around $350 delivered for 100 sq ft, a big chunk of that cost was shipping from the US.

Fitted some new brake and fuel lines with my eastwood pro flaring tool and some new bundy tubing, all I can say is what a major PITA!  The old lines were useless to work with as they must have been removed a thousand times and were pretty mangled so I could only use them as a rough guide for the new lines. So in the end I used a quite a bit of bundy as I would start a line then have to start again to get a bend in the right spot or I would forget to put the flare nut on after flaring and bending  ::) , this isn't something I'd like to do again, in saying that the flaring tool was a breeze to work with, a few seconds for a mint flare!
