    Stan Holmes rebuilt my gearbox many moons ago.. only charged around $400 to rebiuld with whatever parts where needed like bearings etc. I'm sure he's retired now. Used to build box's for rally guys and had to join a waiting list if you wanted one done.

    whats the hole size? is it in between a metric and imperial?

    Grab a test light and stick it through the insulation of the + wire that goes to the motor itself and check for power when ign is on and fan switch is set to high. Could be a few things..

    Knob looks like after market A/C.. installers usually drilled holes anywhere they could mount those things.

    The rear "outline" markers on the Merican models weren't indicators, just rear outline red marker lamps. Came on with the parkers and remained on. Z32 import zeds had them and I wired mine up as I thought it would look different.

    I'm running 17x8" but not sure of the offset. Will be removing a wheel this weekend so I can take some pics / measurements. My guards are lipped slightly and running 225 45 tyres.

    Majority of mods are reversible; if you decide to sell your zed, the new owner will waste no time removing flares, and other items that don't suit his/her taste. As long as you don't have a fully tubbed ladder bar equipped zed, you'll be safe.

    Another welcome and yeah, post pics when your zed is delivered! RB swaps are great for a zed driven daily on the road; smooth and quiet power delivery!

    It'll work well until the plastic is covered in oil... just needs some internal "window wipers". Would stop the mess though. I used to cover the engine bay in rags and hope for the best!

    My 77 260 had an original arm rest / lid. Most break and are removed.

    Believe me... a stock L28 with ITB's will be fun to drive. Build it, drive and enjoy and worry about engine mods later after you've had some fun. Nothing worse than building something, running low on funds and getting depressed.

    Z32's and R33's have suffered that fate... seemes once a cars value falls below a certain point, they get ruined real quick!
