  1. Added a pic with it half a$$ed mounted on the front of the zed.
  2. When I had my Evo 8 I bought a Fujitsubo cat back system and with regards to fitment, it was perfect! Everything matched the factory hangers and went in without any issues.
  3. +2's are a tad wider in the back.. you can try if its adjustable..
  4. Yep! They are M6 x 20mm long. Nope, we don't have specialized tools for panel beaters, but we do have the special rivets alot of cars use to hold external body trims on that I know dealerships sell for $4 each!
  5. I have the button head version which looks like a phillips head screw but has the hex for an allen key. They are in M6 and stainless and use them with a flush M6 steel rivnut.
  6. Excuse the old thread revival, Just have a new website with a great new range of tools and rivnuts for those wishing to make any addons or repairs to your zed or anything else! There are specials for members so if there is anything you like... please email or PM me...or contact us through the site. Thanks!
  7. PM sent re: tail lights..
  8. As above, I have a new unused works type B front spoiler for a G-nose equipped zed. Still in gel coat and has been repaired as it was damaged in transit from o'seas. Bought it from a member here around 2 years ago and decided I don't want it anymore. May be able to pack it but can't guarantee it survives! Asking $200 as I paid a bit more for it. PM or call O413 243 76O
  9. I've moved Dave's post to here where it belongs... and please as Mark has said with those wise words...
  10. The 15/16 master is for a four wheel disk brake equiped car BTW and won't work with rear drums. Better off rebuilding original 7/8 and booster or grab another good booster of another 260Z.
  11. If you want to test the ignition module, while the engine is still cool, grab a heat gun and heat it up. If it dies, that's it. Then cool it off with a wet rag and see if it starts again. You can wire in a Bosch "022" type module but just have to wire in another couple of wires to it.
  12. If you will be using springs for coilovers, they are only available in a couple of lengths anyway; from around 200mm and 250mm or something close to that. Either 60 or 65mm ID.
  13. Sticking with original colours? Dash looks mint!
  14. Tyres for 17's are common as a fair few Euro cars have that size. Its 225 45 17 which get very close to the original zed size.
  15. Sizes are the same but rear housing is different. 240's use a small "L" bracket while the 260's use a metal strap to hold in place. Speedo and tacho mount the same though.
  16. Another Welcome and post pics when you can. We never get sick of looking at other members zeds!
  17. How I checked my lights was get a small battery (12v sealed lead acid) and unplug each light and power it up with that battery. If all work that way, you can search for fault elsewhere. Sometimes a globe looks good, but has a corroded holder etc.. if you can wait till next weekend, I can probably give you a hand as I'm in Paky.
  18. A 240ZD... I like that idea. Just make sure it comes with all the pumps etc..
  19. I think it will be safer to ride out this moist winter and wait for Spring... I think by then most members would be out of hibernation.
  20. The only cure for not having a choke is EFI. An engine block warming up absorbs all the heat made in the cylinder while its running so more fuel is needed to put in more heat for the burning process. You could always install a heating element in the block/sump to keep the engine hot all the time...
  21. The bulb holders in the gauges have small metal "tabs" that earth on the metal gauge body itself so if that's not earthing, no bulb will be on. I have that same problem on my 240 as only the clock lights up even though I have replaced every globe when the dash was out. Looks like I have to remove it again and fix a few issues while its out.
  22. That little bit of accumulated dirt on the strut tower put me right off it...but very nice looking 260Z! well done!
  23. Looks to me like a BRE style "Spook" spoiler but in two piece. A bit smaller though but very similar.
  24. I think everyone wants an old 2 door Skyline GTR thing and that's the next best model that's locally available. They were cheap now it's impossible to find a good one.
  25. RE the distributor on that Fairlady, last of them I saw the ignitor module was mounted on the passenger side kick panel. It was a largeish black box with another Mitsubishi symbol on it. A lot of bizarre electrical items on that zed!
