If the member making reproductions is looking for more business, he has a guaranteed paid-upfront buyer here if he would like one.

Can I ask what you found? I'm looking for a 5 speed gear knob myself so I'm curious as to what you came up with. Dan.
  3. Daniel at DJM Automotive has done great work on my car.
  4. My car has a white interior in good condition: It's pretty difficult to keep clean. Marks are constantly showing up on it and are quite difficult to get off. I am very pleased with the look of it though and wouldn't think of changing it.
  5. Has anyone made up a template for a bracket to attach the choke cable lever to the transmission tunnel (instead of the center console) on a 240z or early 260z (I understand that they are in the same position)? If someone has one handy, it'd certainly save me some time. Thanks, Dan.
  6. Done a bit of stuff with the car since I got it. New paint job to put it back to 110 (?) red, put on the 16x8 Rota RBs (offset 0), put in a new Bosch alternator, converted it to manual a 3.9 diff, put on 240Z carbs (MASSIVE difference) and put on the fender mirrors. Next up will be to put on a Kameari air dam and to drop it just a couple inches with some king low springs. Maybe some Koni yellows in the future too... Just waiting for a good price. After that, there's not much I want to do with it other than just replace some rubber parts, to get rid of a bit of wind noise in the cabin and then just drive and enjoy it! Really enjoying driving. Take it out around once a week for a drive around the country and to go camping. Bit dirty at the moment but no sense washing it in the rain!
  7. It is indeed! Didn't want to call you on your weekend but I got it going again and have now parked it near your workshop. Will give you a call Monday to see if you have time to do some work on it for me!
  8. So, I just broke down in bumper to bumper traffic on Punt Road. Assuming that I'm not going to get my Z going again tonight, can anyone recommend a 24 hour towing company in Melbourne? Hoping not to get ripped off!
  9. Posted this in another thread but reposting for visibility. I've completed the manual conversion on my car but I need an inner shift boot (the rubber that goes under the vinyl shift boot) as I'm not enjoying all the heat and fumes that comes up through the hole. As I had to make the transmission hole a bit larger to fit the new gearbox, I'm assuming that the stock inner shift boot wont fit. Has anyone got any recommendations for a replacement part?

  11. Hi Mikey, I'm in a little bit better situation financially now and so can afford to pick it up for $450. Am I able to swing by Saturday to pay and pick up the parts? Dan
  12. Bam. Not a very happy new year for me unfortunately. My car was reversed into a few days ago and I have some pretty serious damage to repair. I'm insured with Shannons and they give me my choice of repairer. Could anyone recommend a panel beater who fix this for me and also fix some other panel damage that happened as a result of this accident?
  13. Hey mate, do you still have the S30 Kameari style front spoiler available? It's the one with no ducts, right?
  14. I apologise but I will actually have to pass now. Had a large unforeseen cost come up and can't spare the cash righ now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  15. I've done nothing on my Z the past year and I'm a little ashamed of that fact but if I can get enough time, I will try to get there! Dan
