  4. Not sure around that price range.. Check out www.dpreview.com they have reviews and ratings for heaps of cameras
  5. Thanks for th info on the tacho.. Looks like I should be able to get it working... I'm going to try and make it to the BBQ.. I have work but hopefully I'll be able to organise something.. Ye there isn't many 2 seated v8 zed around.. Lucky that it was engineered so long ago before they made it so difficult.. I don't think you are allowed to put a 5l in a 2 seater anymore..
  6. Sorry.. I meant oil pressure guage
  7. Thanks guys.. I'm really happy with the way it looks, nice and clean and stock looking.. I have a few things to do on the interior still. I need to figure out how to get the stock tacho working with the v8.. (If anyone has an idea please let me know) Also the fuel pressure guage . I have some block hugger extractors waiting to go in ( hope the fit) as well as a intake plenum. Just need to find some time.. Thanks for the kind words Mikey
  8. So about 11 months ago i found this 260z 2 seater with a holden 308 red motor, so i decided to snap it up and sell my 2+2... it was owned by the previous owner for about 20 years, the owner did the engine conversion and got it engineered in the late 80s. all the rust was cut out and re painted in 2pac about 5 years by his son who worked at a body shop... and its still looks fantastic!! i dont know too much about the engine except that its a 308 red motor possible out of a ht going but my quick research... its been rebuilt with a mild cam, it has double valve springs, electronic ignition, a rebuit quadrajet, and it runs on normal unleaded now.. the owner also said it has a balanced crank etc.. the gearbox is a W50 toyota celica 5 speed with a hadfield bellhousing diff is R200 3.7 but i may change it to the 3.3 (if i can find one) or possibly a 3.5 down the track.. the car had a roadworthy done when i bought it.. replaced rear diff mount new tie rod ends new lower ball joints new front lower control arm bushes front uni joint replaced i have done a few bits and pieces over the past few months but ill put some updates up later.. here are a few photos in from a couple of weeks after a bought it exactly as i got it. enjoy
