    You need to search for a copy of the Nissan Z car microfiche - they are now digitised. One of the members sent me a copy on CD... That has all the Z parts numbers as well as the exploded diagrams.

    *cough* They are the guard support mounts - they have foam rubber glued to them to support the guards. If they weren't there and you lent on the tops of the guards, you'd dent them...

    4.1LN ratio is very sought after Richard. You are going to have search long and hard to locate one... And 4.08 doesn't exist in an R200LN. Next tallest ratio is 3.9

    Rust repairs are nearly complete and I have a bit of panel beating to do. Last on the list will be dealing with the sunroof hole. I have a plan for this so watch this space...

    No - they are the same width. Ratio's are different. The next upgrade over a 71C box is to convert to the much larger R33 turbo / Z32 turbo / VL Turbo MX7 This requires a cut and shut bell-housing at a minimum to mate to the SR20. I'm not sure on what else needs doing for this conversion.

    So the vehicle is going to be a S13/S14/S15? Just spend the $500 to $600 on a good 2nd hand unit and the std S13/S14 71C box will be fine. Bearings kit ($250.00) and syncro rings (around $150ea) are cheap enough if you want to give it a freshen up.     Hold on - You are saying you don't have a pedal box AT ALL? If you require a complete PB assembly, why haven't you placed a wanted ad here on the forum or on FB? No, Patrol one wont fit.
