  1. Ok thanks for letting me know. Has anyone spoken to him more recently?
  2. I still believe that Classic Car values are tied to other asset bubbles like housing. This is a good article. http://www.executivestyle.com.au/the-case-for-investing-in-a-classic-car-gkxtuj
  3. Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone has been in contact with Daniel recently or had any work done on their S30z by Daniel? I am not able to get in contact with him and wondering what his latest contact details might be? I know he is a member here: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/user/100196-dazzed/ Will also try sending a PM to him but haven't been able to contact via phone. It also doesn't look like he's signed into the website in a while (at least not since we upgraded to the new software). If anyone has talked to him recently or has his details can you please PM me? Cheers,
  4. I'll say...
  5. Historic Works Rally Car being put through it's paces.
  6. This is awesome.
  7. That is correct, trust a corporation to ruin a great song. Keith Richards is 1 of the coolest cats of all time.
  8. Yeah what Peter said, I planned to be there this year but in the end I couldn't make it work. Shame, and I'm sure I'll regret it, but definitely next year. I didn't want to say it earlier because I didn't want it to look like everyone was bailing out. I'm sure quite a few are going to appear tomorrow.

    Back Into It.

It's all relative to how much power you're chasing and how much port work / head work you're willing to do. Standard the N42 will be better for a larger L28 motor as it will have the larger valves. Any head can be made to perform it's just a case of how much coin you want to throw at it. For your mods I'd stick with N42.
  10. Updated first page with a couple more photos.
  11. That would be a cool number to own
  12. Yeah cool to see all the different design ideas. Maybe we could run a design competition for 'official' Auszcar design T-shirts?
  13. FYI: HS30 00404 is here. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/10905-wanting-to-sell-my-69-model-240z-where-should-i-advertise/ Interesting that it still has those fender mirrors.
  14. Thanks actually someone sent me a PM and I haven't followed up re: Graham in WA. I've corrected the mistake, thanks. That makes 1 less very early vin though...
  15. Looks like a nice honest car, you've got an original door mirror for an AU market car. They are very hard to get, keep it on there!
  16. Mark I was looking around your build thread the other day trying to determine what build number your car is? Do you mind sharing? So I can add it to the thread. I believe it's in the 4XX range yes? As a side note I also spoke to Jack a while ago. http://www.autospeed.com/cms/article.html?&title=Yella-Delight&A=108383 His car is in the 4XX range also apparently. He couldn't recall the exact number last time I spoke to him.
  17. Looks like Len Brennan's old rig? The 260z.
  18. George there is a small possibility I have a spare in Melbourne in amongst my spare parts boxes but I'll have to double-check if I remember to look next time I'm down that way.
  19. Seems to be a good car that 1, is it on the road yet or still needs work for RWC etc..?
  20. I've actually considered doing this for some parts but the time to realise your return on capital is long and you have to spend time listing them on eBay (eBay fees) + postage (time to take to post office etc..) It's not easy cash...You'd want to be replicating more than just window rollers. Do you have any reliable contacts in China to produce stuff like this? Alibaba seems promising but I'm never sure how reliable they are... As a side note if there is enough interest in parts like this I'm happy to try and source in bulk.
  21. http://page21.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j371654691 NOS Fender mirrors for S30z 2 hours to go. 75,170 Yen Let's see what they sell for..
  22. or Yahoo! Auctions. http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k203423613 Looks like it comes with door strikers and lock knobs. You could always sell off the rest and keep the chrome bits Part no. 80950-E4100 - but not sure if suitable for 2+2 or 260z door trim?
  23. Shaun did you use illustrator to create that? I have been wanting to create some custom T-shirts myself. I want to make 1 that has a Rally Clock on it somewhere .
  24. +1 Wisemans ferry looks good according to the Google's image search. Seems a few car clubs have gone that way.
  25. Sold - pending final payment.
