They stop your windows rattling about and are usually missing on most S30z's now. They attach to the chrome strip that runs along the top edge of the door. Your best off ordering them brand new in my opinion. Second hand ones are likely to have had the rubber go bad by now. Plus they are yellow cad plated new .
Hopefully you can still get them new?
On the topic of sound deadener, has anyone figured out how to replicate the factory sound deadener material and finish? I am going to rip mine up on HS30 00150 to do some rust repairs on my floors but want to retain the original look again. Not sure how the original stuff was done.
Thanks that would make it a 71 but it has a solid quarter panel, so maybe this was changed at some point from an earlier donor car or the vent hole was filled in.
But the BMW convertible looked good on both you and Lurch... I was tempted to yell "Hey Fun Boys, Get a Room!", but wasn't sure you'd get the reference. So here is the reference for future drive days lol..
I tend to agree, I also think it was a later test mule stamped with an earlier number because it was only ever going to be a test mule. Still a significant car and worth restoring. Shame we haven't heard more about it in 5 years or so.
Not a repost on here, but it was on Classiczcars.com a couple of years ago. Not sure if anyone confirmed it was the real deal or not though. At least the VIN seems legit.

I can only think of a handful of 2 seaters. There was a member who signed up here ages ago with 1, burgundy it's in the gallery. Johnny's in SA and this car. I saw 1 in Unique Cars in a 1995 edition or there about's. That is all the ones I know of...
Looking good, I've started collecting photo albums of various stock colours.
Here is the 907 Green Album.

Those wheel caps look great.
Thing is 260z OEM (NOS) tail lights are going to cost you $400+ anyway... Plus shipping etc.. So I'd probably look at re-doing your existing ones if they are any good apart from minor pitting?
Good turn out today, I only got a few photos early in the morning when we first met. I think Peter got some good ones while driving. Overall great to see some new faces and speak to everyone. The S30z's always look good on the road.
