modular9 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 those were the days :-\ When you could have tyres outside the guards of your car. When twelve slotters were king. and when you could get away with a side-ish entry exhaust. Oh and not to mention the perspex hiding/obscuring tail lights. In fact if you were to even 'look' at doing that to your car now the police would rock around and give you a ticket for individualism... err I mean defects ... immediately. Quote
Scoota G Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 On that car the panel was taped off where the lights were and the rest was blacked out via painting. Not sure if they illuminated in their respective colors. (ow too many big word make brain hurt... must stab it with a cue tip ) Quote
garvice Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 My impression is that it is Zwolf's car as he has put it up on the Texaco comp, (by the way I just voted for this car for the 70's period cars of the comp). That is Terry's Zed. BlueOvalZ on Hybridz http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=155817 Quote

Moderators Zedman240® Posted February 5, 2011 Moderators Posted February 5, 2011 +2 with the Photoshop; if it was real, it would be on numerous zed sites with quite a few pics... Quote
Ledge Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Ha Ha +3 photoshop, If it was on Zed sites the heading would be "what not to do to your Z car" Man thats ugly Quote
Six_Shooter Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 It definitely is a photoshop, the person who did it made one fatal mistake. They did put a lot of thought into it though, trying to keep the wheelbase as short as a 2+2, though it would likely be a little longer in actuality, but they moved the entire cabin forward, notice the shortened fenders and lack of cowl. I would say this would seriously hurt leg room, unless switching to a 4 cylinder (or other shorter engine) to move the firewall forward as well. That fatal mistake was the windows on the other side of the car (driver side for me, being in Canada, passenger side for you Aussies. ), were not changed to reflect the changed door arrangement.
