Hello my OZ mates

I'm Eiji from US/Japan.

My first post ever since signed up a year or two ago:)

I would like one of my zedds to look like a 77-78 OZ 260z with factory F&R spoilers.

Regards,

Welcome Eiji,

so you are this Eiji?

Yep that's the one, I've just removed the fender mirrors and blended in the flares. Tried to modify the colour too but didn't work all that well.

I'm not sold on the bolt on flares, mostly because I don't like the bolt hole divets.

hey man, come to the dark side, i love the bolt on flares. i remember the 1st time i came across this thing was on an rx7 bodykit. i couldnt understand why the bolt on look would be trendy, but the jap kids loved it. then i grew to like it. eventually, when it came time to buy my own zed, i had to go for the flares!

mine are grey, would look better black though, may get the airfix paint out (ha, i make joke)

Well don't get me wrong, if I had a big set of wide wheels I would get them. It's just that if there is a smooth flare option out there I reckon I'd prefer that. I don't know if there is such an option without integrating fiberglass to the body.

theres a famous z in texas and that guy made wide metal flares, i used to love them, i still like them... ill find a picture

I've always admired this Zcar, I think the Flares are perfect. Dare I say it, I think I prefer them to the ZG style as they are so smooth and don't interupt the perfect lines of the 240z.

Might be worth getting in contact with Eric the sites owner and asking him about the Flare specs I'm sure plenty of other owners would love a set (myself included).
