Toecutter Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 sulio : DOnt show me that. I dont want to be thinking ITB's right now. Ah you got the tripples ready to go back onto the new motor have'nt ya? I would'nt want to drive that thing on the road in fear of getting it dirty! So clean, very nice. Hey Luvemfast, is the 280ZX you have pictured there located in Melbourne? Sulio Quote
luvemfast Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Hey Luvemfast, is the 280ZX you have pictured there located in Melbourne? Sulio Nah, thats in the USA I think. Mine is very similar though, once I put on the front spoiler. I have been thinking that I should put some pics of mine on here. Lurch has seen it and didn't notice that it was a 2 seater at first. Working on it tomorrow, hoping to get it on the road again so I can go for a spin. Total front end rebuild, bushes and suspension replacement. Looking forwards to it. Should handle very well now. C.A.R. Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Lurch is has seen it and didn't notice that it was a 2 seater at first. This is true (rather embarrassingly!). I didn't pick it until Simon told me... Quote
Toecutter Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 Look forward to seeing it one day, is it/will it be road reged? The only 2 seater 280ZX I've seen in Melbourne was a black one that was for sale in Geelong. At the time I thought it would have been nice to snap it up but the 2nd half would have killed me. Quote

Toecutter Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 ...oh and some neat weber set ups. Quote
modular9 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 if we are going to play this game ;D i would have the engine bay the colours the body and the race heritage. Of course QLD rego authorities wouldnt even let me start it in my own garage but then that is to be expected of the ... people ... in govt. Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted April 30, 2008 Administrators Posted April 30, 2008 I've been saving this like the last cookie in the cookie jar. I love old race cars and you can't beat an old racing Zed, especially the Japanese ones. I love the BRE Zed, but so many have emulated it and only a handful have really done it well. This on the other hand is almost perfect! I love the wheels, if anyone knows what wheels they are. I want a set . Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 30, 2008 Administrators Posted April 30, 2008 BRE Race Car, Perfection? Almost. Quote
