  2. Hi Guys, Just wondering if anybody is near Fullerton just outside of Adelaide? Need to get a rear engine lid picked up? Thanks Sulio

  4. Hi Guys, Yep been a bit quiet on the car front for me, just very busy with other stuff with our second baby due any time now. I replaced my old work phone with an iphone4 many months back and lost my phone book in a sync with my outlook for some reason so I've just been really lazy getting all the phone numbers back. I find I'm only firing up the lap top for work related stuff these days. In regards to my old Z, its got a new home in the Blackburn area, a mechanic bought it and it's sitting in a room they have under a cover. They do alot Japanese Mod work so who knows what he's done with it by now. I don't think the fella gets on line very much. I hope to be online a bit more in a few weeks as I'm taking a month off for the arrival of the new baby. Cheers Sulio
  5. That sounds great John, I'm in Kensington. I'll gove you a call tommorrow to discuss. Cheers, Sulio Oh and of coarse a reminder for radio's; rob, borrow steal to get your self a UHF, best to get a 5 watt to be useful.
  6. Damn better bring my cork! Channel 16 on the radios is what we have come to use on previous occasions. Shall we all agree to use channel 16 as we get into the mountains. Sulio Hey Craig is Evan in?
  7. hehe - ha looks like a 432 up there in the sky!
  8. I think Craig might have read that as two bridesmaides as opposed to a couple, (ever the optomist hey mate!), but yer we have space in our room for anyone looking for a bed. I reckon I've got that "sleep walking with a kitchen knife thing" under control now. Cheers, Sulio
  9. What about this poor guy?
  10. Craig, unfortunately we can strike Dave G off the list as his car is off the road as of the weekend so more space in our room! Cheers, Sulio
  11. I think Matt was building a house but last time we spoke I think the car was onthe road with just some internal trim to be installed. Sulio
  12. reminds you nice the S30 lines are does'nt it/ I really like the look of this car. Beauty.
  13. Hi Boomer, Welcome, you know our Z's down here tend to be quite a bit faster due to the effects of having less gravity than up on the top of the world. Cheers, Sulio
  14. Hi Guys, Correction thats Dave G that's 99% in, Z32. Getting closer now! Cheers, Sulio
  15. Thanks for the heads up Benny on the RBR's. Yer I had 17x8.5 on the front with -8 offset from memory. I ran a 225x45 tyre. After seeing the 17x9 -13 fronts I reckon they look better filling out the front flares more nicely. The 245 tyre on an 8.5 might do too I suppose. OP your lucky no need to be a guinea pig as plently have done it here with great results just look at the pics of Scondo's car for instance. OP asked about cutting guards. You need to cut them so you can lower the car and get the right stance. If you don't cut them you will need to keep the car jacked up high to maintain any suspension travel also will look like an extremly ugly S30 sitting so high unless you live with those people out where they filmed Deliverence. Cheers, Sulio
  16. Just get Ben Otomot's RBR's, best value. for zg flares, 17x9 front -13, 225 tyres, rear 17x9.5 -19, 245 tyers rear can't remember profile but more detail here, Oh yer cut and weld rear guards, a must do or don't bother with it because you'll own a 4wd S30 lookalike otherwise. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,788.0.html Sulio
  17. I've got 5k cash and a tin with some rupees and various ther currency
  18. I'm sure I've seen that car before, hmmm where was it.............thats right it was Fred Flinstones car! Sulio
  19. A mate at work owns a Z32 and he read on the 300zx forums that a couple of Z32's and a mid resto 240 floated away. Apparently the 240 was in the garage and the whole garage was knocked down and floated away!? I read a thread where another bloke was trying to save his blue 300, made a wrong turn and sunk it. Sulio
  20. Thanks Lurch, for a sec there it looked like a romantic getaway showing just you and Craig on the list. Cheers, Sulio
  21. Might be a good idea to update the first post and show the list of attendies as it stands. Cheers, Sulio
  22. Scoota our roaming reporter, glad to hear everyone was ok. I had a good night, great weather. We pulled chairs out under the warm night sky after the BBQ and fired up the LCD to watch some old Auszcar videos. We did'nt leave until midnight chatting away with Craigoes. David's 240/M3 build was great to hear about but I'm sure he'll let us all in on it in time and can't wait to see some progress on that...oh and looking forward to Thredbo! Cheers, Sulio
  23. Hi Guys, Just a quick reminder for all those that did'nt notice the corrected address, it is: 5/54 Howleys Road, Notting Hill. It's the factory at the far end of the driveway, tucked away but very secure and plenty of room for parking and chit chat with cars always in sight. Cheers, Sulio
  24. I've been thinking about this since I heard and I'm still stumped. I spoke to Kyle at the Christmas BBQ and he told me he had settled into a new job and came across content. He spent over an hour speaking to my wife Nicole and playing our 9 month old princess, Hana. When we left Nicole told me he was so attentive to the little one, picking off the occasional stray ant and the occasional bit of grass. I now wonder how he must have been reflecting on life and the dark parts he must have been in of his own. I know a few of the members here but we often don't get to see each other frequently in person and people often will not expresss how they feel with friends in the flesh let alone online, it's such a tragedy that it can come to this. It was a sad time for Auszcar when Warren Halliday passed not too long ago and now to see young Kyle leave us in this way leave's the heart heavy. I remember Kyle riding in my car in an Apollo Bay overnight cruise we did that was down the Great Ocen Road a couple of years back. It was on the way up that you have one of the best roads in Australia from Lorne to appolo Bay, 60km of bliss driving. We got into a pretty good pace but it started raining. We got into a few sweeping bends with a cliff wall on one side and double armco barrier on the other that was meant to stop cars dropping into the rocks of the sea below. Back end got loose and eventually came right around, amazing that we did'nt hit the barrieir or the wall but once that car stopped we just sat their for a second and looked at each other in amazement. I cooled down abit on my driving since that day and Kyle and I settled in for the remaining part of the ride to a much slower pace and more chit chat and laughs. Sulio
