  2. Great, counts at 12. The more the merrier, anyone thats on the fence please come along. It's a pretty casual affair, come along and introduce yourself if you have'nt had a chance to get to one of our events. By the way some others that come to mind, Loui (LC260), I know he'll be there, and what about Matt Drago, Ash (ZR240), Biggels, John (zdls???), so many others that slip my mind atm, hope you guys read this and come along! Sulio
  3. Reading the artical Mossy posted, end of this year is the target date.
  4. Reading the attached link Mossy attached they have late 2010 as an anticipated start date. I really hope they do make it happen this time, there has been talk of this happening in Vic for years now so I won't hold my breath but it would be a pleasant suprise. I heard some where that in the UK such rego is free as the owner of such vehicles is seen as "preserving history and heritage" in some way and the running costs of enthusiats can be high running multiple cars. It would be nice of Vic Authorities to look at it the same way. Anyhow fingers crossed! I'm on historic plates and a member of the GCC who have an event on every weekend. Sulio
  5. I really like the pic's. Sulio
  6. Great to hear Michael. Well I expect you'll get her regoed soon and come along to the next cruise for us all to have a perve at her! Sulio
  7. Hi Guys, Well the Chrissy BBQ at Gordo's place has come and gone and what agreat day it was. As many will know we have a number of lucky members heading off to Tassy early in Feb so we thought it would be a good time for a get together; the routine casual Auszcar Vic BBQ. As always all members are welcome. Food and drinks provided. Any alcholic beverages are BYO. If you believe you can make please respond to this thread so I can work out how many sausages to buy. Bring your Z along as we usually have a nice turn out and there is a large private car park so all cars are visible at all times from the BBQ area if your concerned about security. Where and when: 6:30pm Thursday 28th Jan 2010 Location: 5/54 Howleys Rd, Notting Hill, VIC. See you there! Sulio
  8. As usual nice work Dimitri. Sulio
  9. Old thread but just wondering how this is coming along? Sulio
  10. I have vowed to avoid face book. Who needs the ex girlfriebd problems! Sulio
  11. Pity we did'nt get the old 280zx as a 2 seater, now I'd consider buying one of those if I had spare dollars lying around. Sulio
  12. I'd personally go for the 17x9 and 17x9.5 rear that evrybody uses. You will fit these aunder a set of ZG flares witout coilovers and if you want to pump them out a tad more just fit a 5mm spacer. Sulio
  13. Dimitri, I'm tipping your reffering to Georges car. Yep and you can still notice it's a non aussy car if youtake a walk around it. Reallyt cool to see a US spec'd 240 in person. Sulio
  14. You don't really need coil over. You can fit 17x9 with approx -13 offset on the front and 17x9.5 with -19 offset rear. Tyres for front that you need are 225x45 and 245 x 40 for the rear. I ran 255x40 but 245x40 would look and clear more nicley. This is with ZG flares as per the pic you were looking at on thje2+2 a page back or so!? Sulio
  15. Oh ok thanx.
  16. OK, will have to be careful in future. I'm with TPG.
