I have gone for a little bit of a suttle change to the car....fluting in the front guards like the bmw m5...bob tail wing...front under sill with round driving lights sunk into it like cobra daytona and gaurds flared in steel 35mm...that way I can fit 9' wheels in the rear...7' in the front...painted in subaru crystal grey...bullet mirrors...and eventually black leather interior white gauges and alloy bits. I also hope to put a stroker motor in it......hope that helps with mental picture !!! Quote

If it's the original 70's green I love it even more it's just such a great colour. This car makes me want to keep mine as original as possible. However I also love the old race car look and of course probably my favourite the ZG look. Quote

zedevan Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 i came across those pics too sulio, thats the kind of colour i'm thinking of going with, but mayb a bit more yellow, all the colours i've mixed up so far are still way to much on the yellow side when on a large surface, but when mixing small amounts it looks really green, also it changes heaps depending on the lighting, but anyway... http://picasaweb.google.com/srcartermd is another car thats the 70's lime 240z colour and here is an excert of what he said to me "To me, the degree of yellow vs. green depends on the light. It is ALWAYS yellow, but the green-ness comes out a little more under fluorescent light or on cloudy days. For a current comparison, it is less green and more yellow than Lotus' Krypton Green or the similar yellow-green Lamborghini uses on their Gallardo/Murcielago, but equally as eye-catching (despite the car.)" anyway going off topic! on another topic one thing thats good about driving in peak hour is you get to see how bad the orange peel is on heaps of brand new cars lol, makes me feel good about the results i've gotten with a roller! These are all the pics I could find on the car but yer the green looks sexy. Reminds me of the cool colours some of the Porsches came out in back in the early 70's. That purple Z not really my cup of tea pretty much all the reasons Gav mentioned but if it sat a little lower it wouold score more points with me. SUlio Quote
