A car like that will probably never be registered legally - same thing I dealt with when I own'd mine (In QLD - and I've heard VIC is much more strict but same principal). New owner will have to get a mechanic to do a dodgey RWC and then just accept the fines as they come. To have it legal at the very least it would need to be raised significantly and a set of wheels that fit in the original guards + a bunch of mod plates. Quite naive of them to buy the car and assume they would be able to do a legitimate RWC on it. Quote
