10k one on gummy..sold as of last night. One of the Syd or Melb workshops put a deposit on it after I spoke to the owner last night. Msgd him first thing this morning to follow with a deposit offer pending some chassis/cills photos of underneath he was going to send come first light.. Too late was the reply T.T

Love how the workshops grab em all up amd sell em back to us at a high price. Fml.

Or they have customers looking for 240z's and willing to spend the big dollars on restoration and the shops need a supply of cars to work on.

 

Some of these shops have been in the game since the late 80s and have accumulated cars and parts over many years. Before the boom in prices too!

 

So don't be too hard on them.

Rust is worth money. Both to purchase and remove!!​

I see the c110 sold today for $3200.00 with 27 bids form 7 keen people ready to part with the cash.

A close look at this car puts into perspective what rust and dents are worth..........

No not me although I will admit to being tempted............I value my life more than a c110 (my wife is a great girl but there are limits :-).

I was very interested to see what it went for. Based on the price a shell recently sold for this was a good pickup for someone who has the skills, time and funding. all be it a bit of a project.

I think the factory that makes those cheap plastic fender mirrors needs to be burnt to the ground . Not a fan of those.

 

The car looks ok, I'd be interested in what it looked like before the fresh coat of paint. Price wise you can't really go wrong, considering it's not blistering with rust.

 

It looks like it will need tidying up, but overall a good project car for $12k. You'd want to see it in person though, these things can often look very good in photos but in person paint may not be so great (especially at asking price).

 

Also it may be mechanically neglected, so a test drive would reveal it's condition pretty quickly.

 

It's not a factory colour, but it kind of works also.

Hi I'm selling my manual Datsun 240k Coupe. I purchased it to build it into a GTR replica and have been collected parts for it. Unfortunately I don't have the time to complete it as my other car has taken priority. It's complete with all interior, glass, chrome trims and the all of the hard to find pieces. It has twin SU's but is missing the radiator and coil. It has been living outside for years so needs a lot of rust work but everything is there to make an amazing replica. When my circumstances change hopefully I can buy it back.

-15x9 and 15x10 Watanabes

-New old stock drivers side quarter panel

Selling my 1976 260Z 2 seater.

 

2.92 Lts, motec injection, 50mm throttle bodies, Alloy flywheel, motor built by les Collins. adjustable platforms front and rear, adjustable wet legs, Sachs clutch, R200 LSD, CAMS log book. Body is excellent but paint is only fair. I would call it rust free!

 

Currently on club reg. sold without reg or RWC.

 

 

Here is a youtube clip when i first got it running again after sitting in the shedd for about 9 years. It's still covered in dust!

Ex rally car, cams approved roll cage with log book. Car is 95% rust free just needs some panel beating and body work time. Spare wheel well has been cut out, comes with a rusty rear hatch, 2 doors, 2 guards, 2 headlight buckets, dash.

 

These are getting hard to find especially with little rust, make me an offer.

Looks like the transmission tunnel is split in 2.

260z 2+2 for sale on Facebook. It's got an NA FJ20 in it and he wants around 15k for it. I think he has only owned it for a few months and doesn't appear to know anything about it. It was resprayed recently, apparently a bare metal full resto but I can't imagine anyone letting a fully restored body going for 15k and considering he doesn't have any photos of the bare metal respray + the fact that it's got eBay fender mirrors would lead me to think it might be a bog, spray and sell job but that's just my personal thoughts and I seen it in person so I can't really say much. Does look really nice though.

This looks vvvery similar to one that I saw in QLD at the time I bought my 2+2, car was apparently "rust free" but you couldn't tell because some one went nuts with deadner under the car and the spray job was cheap and nasty.. looks like this owner just gave it a good polish and fixed up the interior and now is selling it.
