  1. Hi, I have a copy of the factory ws manual for the Z injection system. It is a very easy read and has good section on trouble shooting. If you PM your email address I will send it to you. Cheers. PB
  2. Congrats on the purchase Ned. Look forward to seeing the fun you have it getting her how you want her. Personally I think building to a drivable (not show) standard is a great idea, these cars are too much fun to not to use as often as possible. Cheers PB
  3. Nice to know the limited time price has stuck around.
  4. And there it is, the latest thing to add to my shopping list.Where did you get that one from ? Cheers PB
  5. All things considered, that is preety good outcome from a terrible situation. It nice to know that Shannons came through for you. Cheers PB
  6. .....and 15 or so years from now people will saying the same about todays prices for some cars - but which ones ?

  8. Welcome Got to say I love your choice of project name "Black Hole" really captures the essence of car restoration. Good luck with the project, keep the photos coming. Cheers PB
  9. Hi AJ Great looking car, original with just a few period mods. I look forward to seeing it in the metal one day. Cheers PB
  10. Hi Jeff No not planning on leaving, just been busy with other projects Pool, Boat & Chev. The reason for sentimentality was, I was chatting to a friend who is rebuilding a car and struggling with one part of it. I mentioned the huge amount of help and advice I have received via this forum. He was a little stunned as his forum experiences have been rather disappointing. Just got me thinking that we don't often reflect on acknowledge those who help us with this journey. Cheers
  11. Hi Well, that was 5 years ago. Amazing how time flies. This forum, well the people on it actually, has been a great source of both knowledge and encouragement. I have really enjoyed the friendly banter and interaction within the posts. I think I have even made a friend or two Anyway, enough of that dribble, Thanks for all the support, encouragement & friendship - it has been a great journey. I just hope I can give back over the coming years as much as I have taken out over the last 5. Cheers PB
  12. Hi, Didn't make it to this. Got rather distracted by "A hole in the water that you pour money into" Must be getting close to time for a Sydney drive ? Cheers PB
  13. Hi Diagnosing electrics remotely is not exactly easy, having said that - Dim lamps, of just about any kind, are usually due to dirty connections - so yes clean the terminal and see what difference that makes. Also, you could direct ground the wire and see - this will tell you if the switch is questionable Let me know how you go. Cheers PB
  14. Hi, That is a shame, but in some ways not exactly suprising. When you say "serious reconditioning" what exactly are you talking about ? Cheers PB
  15. Great Tip. JIS screwdrivers are great, especially when working on Carburettors or Japanese motorbikes. I am very happy with mine. Cheers PB http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/14850-borrowed-a-screwdriver-from-a-mate-and-learnt-a-lesson/
  16. Hi Rudi Love it, much jealous. Lucky score on the Dexion racking, that stuff is great and normally expensive. Cheers PB

Hi What sort of budget range are you looking at ? Cheers PB
  19. Haha. Knowing the attention to period detail that Gav is aiming for I wouldn't mind betting that he may already have one
  20. Hi AJ Welcome 600Z has covered things well in their reply. The only thing I would add is - talk to an approved engineer before you make a start on the project. After all it is the engineer that will have the final say on what can and cannot be done. If you read through the Members Projects pages you will find a few examples of V8's in Z's Cheers PB
  21. Hi Declan As everybody else has suggested walk away. Something much better will come along, although not for $2K. Cheers PB
  22. Thanks Simon, gave me a laugh. Cheers PB
  23. Hi Gav They are looking good, I believe that if you reprinted the entire guage set in the same type face only the absolute purest would notice. Also, how do you plan on working out the adjustable yellow needle ? Cheers PB
  24. Well done.Sold to a "Lurker" not a "Lurcher" ?
