Hey Ben

This is the 1000th post in this thread, and I am totaly disappointed in myself, nothing to update Buddy, work and health have dominated life at the moment but the dream lives on and will come true one day.

Cheers

A poor update, however

I went to see my girl today and brought her new seats along, seems they fit with no issues other than the runners which need to be modified to suit the Zed mount rails which will lower them some 50 - 75mm's, dont believe there will be any fowling issues with the rest of the trim and there is adequate clearence to both the tunnel and sills.

John (Yes I'm still alive, just LOL)

Hey Ben, Good on you Buddy, can you just make sure you dont vote for Elma Rudd and that will be a massive helping hand.

Without making this too topical I hate KRudd as much as the next guy but at the same time even as a long time Liberal supporter I just can't see myself voting for Abbott and his policies... and WTF is Palmer United!

Totally off topic, My HSV seats have lost any appeal, however, I think this will tell the story and end the arguments..................

If you value your kids futures, then as Hockey stated

"We can no longer borrow from our kids, because under Labour that's what you are doing and it's our kids who will end up paying, not us !"

I sold my Clubby recently with those seats and I have to say it was one of the things I didn't like about the car. Very uncomfy and I'm fairly small compared to most blokes.

Well, guess it all comes down to body types, being 6ft tall and the other side of 100kg's, a mate of mine had a Club in which I spent some time in and I found them supportive, apart from that spent a fair bit of time actually sitting in the ones I have in the garage reading the Sunday papers and was pretty happy :-)

The back section was great, it was the bottom section that annoyed me. The front edge is quite sharp under your quads so you have to get the seat angle right (electric seats) or you'll cut off circulation on long trips and swinging your legs to the side to get out is a pain with those big humps on the side, which you always rub/squash as you get in.

Guess I'm lucky as these are the full twin motor electric set ups  ;)

Bad news - Confirmed this evening, Jan 18th and 19th 2014, chassis build weekend cancelled as Locky has had something come up and cant make it  :( Now looks like mid Feb due to my work and travel commitments.

Good news, met with the certifying engineers Bernie and Tom this afternoon and they signed off on my plans (Many thanks to David "KatoKid" for refering me to them)  ;)
