Nah, tried, I also called the guy this arvo and he told me it was sold. Funny thing is by chance I spoke to a fella today near Byron who advised "I have a mate with a car dealership that has a yellow 240 that wants $2.5K". Must have been this car, I thought I'd see what the pics of the rust look like and persue it then. I suppose it goes to show one really has to pull the finger right out to get in early hey! :)

 

I have a couple of other barn finds on the go though so see how it goes.

Man that was a steal, only seen it now. Looks very tidy and original from the outside. A great restoration project and it looks like the original yellow too! I love 240z's in that colour.

 

You can subscribe to eBay RSS feeds and if you use Google Reader or another RSS program get updates when new cars become available. I was thinking of having an aggregated feed on this site showing all the newest cars listed every couple of hours. But even in this case it wouldn't matter because it was sold within an hour.

Hope no one else has posted it, looks good for the 302 V8 i have ready to piece together in the shed. Spot some A/C there too.

 

Looks like it has some original wheels and what looks like a brand new vented bonnet!!  Currently at $200 in Mornington Peninsula, Vic

I've met the guy...has some good bits on it like 240Z carbies and rust isn't too severe. plus its a late 260Z. Has a sunroof though :(

That kit is actually made in Japan, I've seen a few over there. Doesn't look good from any angle.

Hello there all in the z-world,

I just paid a deposit on the silver 260 on ebay and will be down in the next day or so to pick it up. I came across the car and actually bought it now on ebay a couple of years ago where the owner had a freind put it on to see how it would go but for whatever reason ( I forget now) decided not to sell it, I can understand that completely. Anyway I checked ebay this morning and there it was again, I hadn't spoken to him for 12 months or so and intended on catching up with him last sunday as I was in melbourne to pick up the tiga mica gold 2+2 that had been for sale for a couple of months, not a bad car and a great drive home. So I spoke to him and he remembered me , told me the price and I put a deposit straight in and am very exited. I sold my 260 coupe last november and miss it terribly. I agreed on a fair price and thats the best I could hope for.

  Anyway please all respect the sale and no guzzumping would be appreciated. I will let you know how it all goes, cheers.
