Nah, tried, I also called the guy this arvo and he told me it was sold. Funny thing is by chance I spoke to a fella today near Byron who advised "I have a mate with a car dealership that has a yellow 240 that wants $2.5K". Must have been this car, I thought I'd see what the pics of the rust look like and persue it then. I suppose it goes to show one really has to pull the finger right out to get in early hey! :)

 

I have a couple of other barn finds on the go though so see how it goes.

Got an email back from him today, he says he has had offers so far of around $5000, so the reserve is $4000.. and he was unable to put the engine/box back into the car for shipping, so anyone interstate is going to have a hard time (that's me out)

I see this car is still listed in the trading post. I was interested until I found this page looks like a hell of a lot of rust and chassis rail damage ! May be all I can get for the bucks.

I'm a bit confused where these pics came from.

Recovered dash, new carpets. New Brakes and brake components. Excellent strong motor runs very well, no smoke or leaks. No REG and No RWC. Selling due to needing the space. "

 

$3000- I know it's not in for $1 million, but... a little honesty goes a long way...

 

Mechanically not too flash either.

I'm a bit confused where these pics came from.

 

I got a state roads inspection done on it and posted the photos from them, I have the whole report -if you want to give me your email I can send it to you if you want more info... that's not all it's problems... : )
