Geeze, there's some nice stuff there Gav!

1 man's trash is another's treasure. It's full of stuff in there, some of it worth shipping some not. All the wheels are basically Topy's of various date stamps. I've been asking him to collect them when he comes across them for the past year or 2.

The car outside is an early 240z (#1016 I think is the number). It's pretty solid but missing quite a few early 240z parts. The car in the garage is a Fairlady Z-L (RHD) and is basically a shell.

Are those factory coil overs?

They look like Techno Toy Tuning ones

No they are defintely sports option parts. Not sure why my last reply didn't go through yet. But quite rare and desirable.

They look to have quite a big offset in the strut top for better castor and camber angles. 2 studs by the looks of them too.

The tops look like the 'DP racing' strut tops, I think it's a Yankee brand that's common on Hybridz.

What's the going rate on those sports option struts Gav?

Which ones?

Not the coloured ones? I don't remember the sports option parts from the day being coloured, I am sure the spring platforms/nuts were bigger.

The works (rally) strut tops also had three studs from memory.

The ones under your foot look like they could be the real deal though.......

I think the colored ones with the offset tops have ground control brand sleeves and eibach springs.

The anodized ones are aftermarket, the ones under my foot are Nissan Sports Option Catalog parts. Refer to catalog here.

Someone else is very interested in those and I have passed on details, I am not sure if he's willing to sell them though! Quite rare and hard to put a price on. There was a pair on Yahoo! Auctions recently, not sure if they sold?

Says final bid was: 134,000 yen

(AU$1,695.10) (just for a pair).

I think they might have been a front pair (might be harder to find rear's).

To be honest it might not be too difficult to reproduce them out of the standard struts (put the stickers on there) etc.. but you won't get that stamping with the part no. on them and perhaps Alan knows what other differences are on them compared with stock? Certainly a cool part to have, especially if building a Z432-R replica ;).

JDM Car Parts does the sticker.

Thanks for the help GAV and Rickers.

Been trying to find some for a while.

The buggered rockers panel is from a dodgy smash repair.

So i'll do it right this time...

What year centre console do you need? I've found early 240z rear hatches and maybe a clean 260/280 hatch.

Gav if You find a set of std 240 struts both sides both ends and you have room I'll take them. Would like them to be complete with inserts springs and rear stubs if possible.

Thanks

Jeff
