do you know what you want done?
Have you thought about how and where your going to use the car?

Just dropping an engine in and some paint to make it fully sic isnt really an answer.

So, lets say you want a car you can drive most days, looks good, sounds good, has power, handles most of what the street will throw at it.
You need a car (however much you spend) Engine and driveline package, front an rear suspension/brake upgrade, paint/body work, rims, interior, stereo ect.

to pay someone else to do all of that for you will easily cost you between $20k for a cheap slap together and $100k for an immaculate build.

how much do you want to spend? and if you decided that youd be happy spending the high end of that, you could just buy a real nice Porsche....

Dreaming if you think you can get it done for 15k. Im doing a joint build of a rb25 s30 and we are doing nearly all the work ourselves and its already over 20k and not nearly done..and thats excluding any interior and bodywork.

My own 240z is still more than 15k in the engine department and thats for a L series.

Rb25 conversion costs for me are as follows.

Halfcut 3k

Wiring and Haltech ECU 3k.

Brakes 1k

Suspension 2.5k

Fuel tank mods and fuel system 2k

Driveshaft mod $400

Diff 2k.

Wheels and tyres 2k

Engine gaskets and refresh 1k

Engine mount kit $600

Engineering $1200

Radiator $200

Intercooler and piping $1500

Exhaust $1k.

Consumables and fluids over 1k

List goes on..

Well it may not be what the OP wanted to hear, but it is realistic.

I find it funny how someone who's never built an engine before and clearly knows jack about engine building thinks that a quote outweigh's experience.

If you factor in the cost of the rb25, engine mounting kit, labour to install it (just so it sits in there and not yet runs) that'll cost you up to 10k alone. Let alone the rest of the powertrain, engine management system, and etc. If you do it yourself, it'll obviously be cheaper, but you'll have to know how to spin a spanner at the least lol.

Also you're display picture makes you look like a flog, which is 50% of the reason why you're getting these responses.
