In that condition there is a very high chance it works. Every 1 of these radios I've bought has worked. Albeit some have had auto seek issues. But they still have signal and sound.

Gavin - I remember you mentioning the reproduction faceplates - did you ever get one? If so, what is your opinion of them?

http://www.240zrubberparts.com/apps/webstore/products/show/5556500

Very good, no complaints. I bought 3 of them. The only thing you might want to do is get the chrome vacuum plating done on the inlays for the perfect OEM finish. But yes very happy with them.

:-\  The 240zrubberparts.com page that I posted the link to shows that the faceplate has the chromed lettering and highlights. Did the faceplates that you bought not have this - or are you saying that it is not very well done (and should be redone to look right)?

Here are the faceplates I bought.

https://goo.gl/photos/f9sRqTuqTP1U7q669

You can see the grey coloured inlays.

Here is a NOS radio I should have bid on.

You can see the plastic chrome inlays. So I believe they are the original finish. I think the Chrome flakes off over the years and leaves the grey outline.

Most probably wouldn't notice or care.

$650 seems a cheap for a NOS one considering what it would cost to restore a wheel.

I will be interested to see how much Gav pays for it :)

Genuine Air cleaner to suit triples on an S20 - Would it suit triples on an L Series ?

The auction items appear to be a mixture of 432-type and GT-R-type parts. The blue airbox is a replacement from the Nissan parts department (the blue was manufacturer Tsuchiya's house colour) for the 432-type.

None of it will work on an L-gata engine really. The airboxes are configured for installation on the right side of an engine, whilst the L-gata's carbs are on the left side. The radiator support-mounted 432-type air filter holder sits on the right side of the car only, which is fairly useless when the carbs are on the left.

I'd be interested to hear why these bits ended up in Australia, and why they are now up for sale. My hunch would be that they might have been purchased in Japan with the idea of modifying them to fit something other than an S20-powered car, and the plan has now been dropped.

Yeah I'm still puzzled as to why they are here.

Oh my PS30-SB (Z432-R) Kobe Seiko size wheels. 7jx14 (set of 4 apparently).

http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/236563998

These are the wide version (not the regular Z432 version).

NB: They also have the holes in the spokes.

Current Price: 1,000,000 yen (39 bids).
