Thanks for posting that vid Jeff

Great to see the cars being built on "the line" rather than in post production workshop - reinforces the connection to the more mainstream product, something that is lost in most of today's competition cars.

Cheers

Had a bit of a chuckle to myself when they started talking about date stamps on the steel wheels of this 904. :D

LD28 block?, TC24 injected head, 91ron, 470fwhp... hi comp race motor with more power to come. It sounds huge, but those numbers are massive!

I thought the LD28 block was not compatible?

Love this guy's Alpine's - very cool cars and I love the period correct parts on many of them.

Very impressive little cars. I remember as a young fellow watching Bob Watson drive an a110 in what would have been the Don Capasco rally in Canberra in 1974. Then seeing Ron Marks running his R5 turbo at a Gold Cup rally here turned me into a closet Renault fan. I almost purchased an R8 Gordini as my first car but Dad talked me out of it getting a 1600 instead.

Ari and Sebastien did it quickly.

Before them Michele was the first woman to win the race and famously said on the podium "if we all had balls we would race back down!"

Mr Block just does it sideways.

This is my favourite pikes peak memory. Must admit to having a bit of a crush on the small French woman. She caused quite a bit of a stir when she competed. The Americans didn’t like being shown up by a woman.

This is a very inspiring story of how one person and his mates on a limited budget developed a bike ahead of its time that was able to successfully compete against the works teams.

The Britten motorcycle :)

He designed and built the engine for it!

Sorry I don't know how to put the link in with pic.

Wish we got the 2-seater version of the S130, great video. Loved the sound of the old L6.

Nearly the best show on YouTube now!

Love Al's attitude, and most things he does really well...few cringeworthy moments
